"Donald and the Beanstalk" is the sixth episode of the first season of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Playhouse Disney (now known as Disney Junior) on May 20, 2006.
Plot[]
Donald has accidentally traded away Boo-Boo Chicken for magic beans to Willie the Giant. Can Mickey, Donald, and Goofy get him back from Willie?
Synopsis[]
The episode begins in the Clubhouse with Mickey and Pluto greeting the viewers as Donald walks inside. He shows Mickey some beans he got from Willie the Giant, saying he traded Boo-Boo Chicken for them because the giant said they were magic. However, when Donald tries to perform some magic with them, nothing happens, causing him and Mickey to think that he got tricked. Donald begins missing Boo-Boo Chicken and Mickey offers to help him get it back. First, Mickey goes to the Mouse-ke-doer to get his Mouseketools: sticky tape, a magnifying glass, a bubble machine, golden keys, and the Mystery Mouseketool.
Donald and Mickey go outside and meet Goofy, and Mickey explains Donald's situation to him. Donald angrily throws the beans onto the ground, but they immediately sprout into a giant beanstalk, giving the friends a path into the clouds. As they climb the beanstalk, however, it begins breaking. Mickey calls Toodles for the sticky tape so they can fix the beanstalk. Once the friends get into clouds, they cloud hop over to Willie's kingdom. They find animal tracks, but they are too small to distinguish which ones belong to Boo-Boo Chicken. Mickey calls Toodles again for the magnifying glass, allowing him to follow the chicken tracks.
The trio reaches Willie's farm and find the animal pen containing Boo-Boo Chicken while Willie is sleeping. Mickey calls Toodles for the gold keys so they can open up the pen and they find Boo-Boo Chicken. However, at that moment, Willie wakes up and begins chasing the trio for the chicken. Mickey calls Toodles again for the bubble machine to distract Willie so they can descend the beanstalk. Upon arrival at the Clubhouse, however, Willie catches up to them and sobbingly demands Boo-Boo Chicken back. Mickey calls Toodles for the final time for the Mystery Mousketool: a teddy bear. Willie takes the teddy bear and immediately likes it, letting Donald keep Boo-Boo Chicken. The trio then goes into the Clubhouse for the Hot Dog Dance. The episode ends with the whole gang exiting the Clubhouse as it disappears and Mickey waving goodbye to the viewers.

- Mickey says that they had to say their pattern backwards, but the truth is, that since patterns sometimes start in the middle, they didn't actually have to.
- This is the only episode to have five Mouseketools instead of four or three.
- Just like in the original Mickey and the Beanstalk short film, Donald Duck angrily throws the magic beans to trigger the sprouting of the beanstalk.
- The scene of Willie chasing Mickey, Donald, and Goofy after they got Boo Boo Chicken became the most popular meme yet on YouTube.
- This is the second time Mickey had to be quiet during the Mouseketools segment after "Mickey Goes Fishing".
- After picking the third Mouseketool, Donald and Goofy whisper "Cheers.." after Mickey whispers "We got ears whisper cheers."
- This is the first episode to feature Willie the Giant and Boo-Boo Chicken.
- This is the first one out of only two episodes where Mickey makes alternative dance moves for Mickey's Mousekedoer song. The second one would be "Mickey's Treat".
- Minnie and Daisy are absent from the main story but they still appear in the Hot Dog Dance.
- This is the only episode in which Mickey does not say "Come on everyone, let's go to the Mousekedoer to get some Mouseketools." and "Alright! We got our Mouseketools!".
Goofs[]
- Willie and the beanstalk that Donald grew are in the Clubhouse gardens before the Hot Dog Dance, but they mysteriously vanish as everyone exits the Clubhouse.
