Barrie Stanton Ingham was a British actor, whose only Disney roles were Basil of Baker Street and Bartholomew in the 1986 Disney animated feature film The Great Mouse Detective.

Ingham was born in 1932 in Halifax, West Riding of Yorkshire and was educated at Heath Grammar School. He became a Royal Artillery officer before making his stage debut in Manchester with the Library Theatre Company, and then he moved to London's Old Vic. He also performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Mermaid Theatre Company and Royal National Theatre. He appeared in various stage productions, like Copperfield, Much Ado About Nothing, Gypsy: A Musical Fable, Camelot, Private Lives, Aspects of Love, and Jekyll & Hyde as Sir Danvers Carew and would remain with it for four years until closing in January 2001 and appeared in a filmed version of the show with David Hasselhoff.

Primarily a television actor, Ingham appear in both British and American shows, like Undermind, The Caesars, Doctor Who, Hine, Ann Veronica, The Avengers, The Power Game, Funny Man, The Jeffersons, One Day at a Time, Days of Our Lives, Webster, Murder, She Wrote, Matlock, The Triangle, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

His notable film credits included The Day of the Jackal, A Challenge for Robin Hood, Invasion, Dr. Who and the Daleks, The Scales of Justice, and as Irwin 1138 in the Josh Kirby...Time Warrior film series.

Ingham retired in 2005 and died on January 23, 2015 at his home in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. His remains were cremated.
