"Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" is a Disney song from the 1946 film Song of the South. It was sung by Uncle Remus as a segue to the first animated Brer Rabbit segment.

Despite the film's banning by Disney due to its racial insensitivity, the song is the only element from it that has still been actively marketed, and it remains a well-known one, appearing in various media, most notably at Splash Mountain and, prior to that, as the finale for the Mickey Mouse Revue. It was also featured in The Muppet Show in the Alan Arkin episode.

In the early years of the Disney Channel, an instrumental version of the song was often used as background music for bumpers and promos. The Mickey Mouse Disco version of the song was also used for a DTV music video in the 1980s, using clips from Donald's Off Day, Flowers and Trees, Donald's Vacation, Self Control and Springtime for Pluto.

It was is also ranked #47 on the list AFI's 100 Years... 100 Songs,[1] along with "When You Wish Upon a Star" (#7), "Some Day My Prince Will Come" (#19), "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" (#36), "Beauty and the Beast (#62) and "Hakuna Matata" (#99).

On the Disney Sing Along Songs video Disneyland Fun, the song is performed over a montage of visitors riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Star Tours, Star Jets, the Matterhorn Bobsleds, and the monorail.

Feeling this way
Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-Ay
Wonderful feeling
Wonderful Day

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
My oh my, what a wonderful day!
Welcoming back Brer Rabbit today.
We always knew that he'd get away!
He's had enough of movin' on now.
It's where he's born and bred in.
The briar patch is where he's headin'.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
My oh my, what a wonderful day!
Plenty of sunshine heading our way.
We never doubted he'd get away!
Moving on taught him a lesson.
You've learned it well, Brer Rabbit.
Gettin' caught's a nasty habit.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
Wonderful feeling, feeling this way!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
It's a time for celebratin' today!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
Gathered together this wonderful day!
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
Brer Fox and Brer Bear are gonna get it today.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
That hungry gator's gettin' his way!
Mr. Bluebird on my shoulder.
It's the truth, it's actual.
Everything is satisfactual.
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Zip-a-dee-ay!
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!

Well, you know it is a thrill
When you go down hill
'Cause you're riding on a mountain
Of your own free will
And you're zippin' in a flash
On a daring dash
Down the waterfall so rapid
That you go "splish splash"
Zip, zip, zip, zip, zip, zip
Zip, zip, zip, zip, zip, zip, zip
Zip, zip-a, zip-a-dee-doo-dah
Zip, zip-a, zip-a, zip-a-dee-do-dah-day
