Zero Mostel (born Samuel Joel Mostel; February 28, 1915 – September 8, 1977) was an American comedian, actor, and singer who guest-starred in Episode 202 of The Muppet Show. Unfortunately, he died before the episode was broadcast, making him the only Muppet Show guest star to do so.
