"Winner Takes Ball" is the forty-sixth episode of the second season (and ninety-eighth episode overall) of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. It premiered on June 22, 2015.

Synopsis[]

Randy accidentally sends Howard on a quest for the final Sorcerer's Ball.

Plot[]

The story continues from the previous episode, After the students are returning home from the field trip and the sorcerer ball broke the droplets went to the sewers which causes a mixture to the water system all over the sewers. Randy almost drink the water until Howard shows to tell him that he has McBubble Slams both the drank the beverage until Heidi shows up and drinks the water from Randy got causing her eyes to turn green. When both tries to decide where to go the townspeople starts drinking the mysterious green water causing their eyes to turn green as well.

Randy and Howard went to the Game Hole until they notice that Greg is digging in the arcade store but it's not just him but the entire townspeople have glowing green eyes and digging a holes. Both of them doesn't what they're doing thinking it's a Contest. Howard participates Digging but Randy doesn't know what they are finding until Howard finds a Fork but everyone ignores.

The Nomicon alerts Randy and broke Howard's promise going to the nomicon and greeted by First ninja by telling randy if the sorcerer balls are combined a unfamiliar foe will appear for 800 years Evil Julian and take the balls with him First ninja tells randy to protect the balls at any cost. Randy figured out that the Townspeople where actually finding one of the sorcerer balls until Randy tell it out loud but everyone returned back to digging. Randy goes back to his house to get the other ball and saw Howard who also found the ball as well. Until suddenly Theresa showed up to Randy's room to get the ball but he grabs Theresa and puts her in his closet he manages to save the ball.

Until, Greg, Mr. Bannister, and Principal Slimovitz showed to his room who also want get the ball Randy manages to escape with ball. Howard got the ball as well. Until, the townspeople showed up trying to get it as well Randy showed up to protect Until Both him and Howard had a Argument who can keep the ball. Evil Julian showed up who manages to survive and still tries to get the ball. Randy mentions that he destroyed and Emptied the ball unfortunately Julian tells randy that the ball went to the water supply that causes the townspeople to be controlled by Evil Julian.

The townspeople tries to steal the ball from Howard but Randy can also control the townspeople with his other ball he had. But Julian blast randy by dropping the ball to the hole. Randy manages to overpowered Evil Julian again and ending hurting his friend but worst, Evil Julian had the other 2 Balls randy and Howard has.

Evil Julian tells randy to choose to save his friend or save the balls instead saving Howard. Julian fuse all three of the balls even taking the energy of the townspeople turns them back to normal and Julian disappears. Howard thanks Randy from saving him. Randy and Howard went to Randy's house for safety, when the skies became dark telling they should have went to the game hole instead, Randy realize, he almost hurt Howard from been corrupted by the Sorcerer's Ball, but Randy ultimately forgot that Theresa is still in his closet, as Randy opens the door Theresa is back to normal and she doesn't remember.

  • The title is a pun of the phrase "winner takes all."
  • Theresa is voiced by Grey DeLisle instead of Sarah Hyland in this episode.
  • First Ninja appears in this episode.
  • All four Chaos Pearls have been found and are now in the possession of Evil Julian.
  • Randy is nearly corrupted by the Chaos Pearls when he uses one.
  • This is the continuation of "Big Trouble in Little Norrisville".
  • When Cyborg Julian first strikes the Ninja in the quarry, a green barrier was momentarily seen protecting the Ninja. This was likely due to the Power Ball that was in Randy's possession.
  • Coach Green returns after being absent during Season 2.
