"Who Stole the Dinosaur?" is the first segment of the forty-eighth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on April 1, 2017 alongside "Nine Minutes 'Til Bedtime", and is the first segment of the eighteenth episode in the second season.

Synopsis[]

Space Trader Dashiell Scamp needs the Callistos' help getting a dinosaur off his ship.

Plot[]

A spy-eye is keeping watch over the Stellosphere and watches the Callistos leave the ship with the Star Jetter to go to Planet Metazoica. Once there, the Callistos take their light stream vehicles to go to the dinosaurs. Miles thinks about riding a different dinosaur like a Tyrannosaurus Rex, but Loretta just wants to ride Angie if she can find her.

Since the dinosaurs are getting spooked by the light stream vehicles, the Callistos turn on the vehicles' modulators. Loretta finds Angie, however, Angie runs away from her, and gets spotted by the spy-eye. It also records Miles riding the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Phoebe riding a Triceratops, and Leo riding the flying dinosaur.

On the Rapscallion, Dalton informs Dashiell Scamp that the spy-eye in sector 8 is recording Callistos using vehicles known as light streams to calm down the dinosaurs. Scamp assumes that that is something definitely worth acquiring. Dalton then takes the Rapscallion to Metazoica.

Loretta tries to calm Angie down again. At first, Angie runs, but she is calmed down by the sound of the modulator. Loretta then tells Miles that since Angie is used to her, she doesn't need to hear the modulator's sound to say calm. Before Miles leaves, he suggests to keep the sound turned on. Loretta turns the sound off, and as a result, Angie knocks her off. The spy-eye records it, and Scamp and Dalton realize that taking a light stream is easier when someone is not sitting on it. Scamp then teleports.

The Callistos appear, and Loretta informs them what happened. Just then, Scamp appears, and decides to trade the light stream vehicle for his signature toy, however, he accidentally takes Angie. Leo says that Scamp only wanted the light stream vehicle, and the Callistos begin their mission to take back Angie.

In the Rapscallion, Scamp realizes that Angie wasn't part of the trade. Angie then throws Scamp off, disabling his jump coat's teleporting ability. Dalton appears, and Scamp tells him that he didn't trade for a dinosaur on purpose. Angie then wrecks the ship's walls and knocks off the light stream vehicle's modulator. Scamp assumes that he and Dalton may have a serious problem, and tasks Dalton to catch Angie while he escapes with the Rapscallion.

The Callistos then board the Stellosphere to chase the Rapscallion, however, the Rapscallion activates its invisitech. Leo activates the ion filter to see the ion trail its engines leave behind. Miles reassures Loretta that the Callistos will get Angie back.

In the Rapscallion, Dalton is still chasing Angie with a sheet. Angie continues wrecking the hallway's walls and makes her way to the bridge. There, he eats a few snacks. Scamp says that this is the reason why he doesn't have pets. Dalton tries to get Angie to leave the bridge, but Angie smashes the thruster controls, leading to the Rapscallion speeding out of control.

Scamp then decides to call the Callistos. Scamp informs the Callistos about the problem he has with Angie and the mischief she called with the Rapscallion. He also informs them about the smashed thruster controls. Phoebe and Leo decide to do the repairs. There is a deal only if Scamp hands over the light stream vehicle along with Angie. Scamp accepts and decides to deactivate Invisitech. Miles again reassures Loretta that Angie will be home soon.

The Callistos then board the Rapscallion. Phoebe and Leo decide to do the repairs while Miles, Loretta, Scamp, and M.E.R.C., get Angie. To get to Angie, Miles, Loretta, and M.E.R.C. need to follow the sounds of destruction. They eventually find her in the bio-garden. Scamp and M.E.R.C. close its doors before Angie deactivates its system. She is then trying to break through the hatch that leads to space. Miles and Loretta warn Angie to stop what she is doing, however, Angie breaks that door's system, as well.

Angie then wrecks the door with her tail. Scamp and M.E.R.C. then begin to pry open the other door to get Miles and Loretta out. Miles tries to calm Angie down, but the modulator is gone. Loretta can calm Angie, but has a very short time since there is a hole in the hatch. Eventually, after being reassured but Loretta that everything will be fine and that she is here to help her, Angie calms down and lets down her tail. Loretta then takes Angie out of the bio-garden while Scamp patches the hole up.

Back on the bridge, Leo and Phoebe finish the repairs and Phoebe brings the Rapscallion to a full stop. They then see Miles, Loretta, and M.E.R.C. leading Angie to the Stellosphere's hangar. Phoebe tells Scamp that she and Leo are good. Scamp, on the other hand, is about to be visited by the SpaceGuard, as Phoebe called them. Phoebe and Leo are proud of their kids.

The Rapscallion then leaves while two SpaceGuard cruisers give chase. Loretta then rides Angie again, and Phoebe says that Loretta really does have a connection with Angie. Miles assumes that he has a good connection with the T-Rex he was riding, and decides to ride him without the modulator. However, the Callistos are against it. Miles goes, anyway, and M.E.R.C. chases after him.
