"Wherever You Are" is a song from Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin. It is sung by Winnie the Pooh (Jim Cummings) during his and his friends' journey to rescue Christopher. The song's topic is about missing a close friend and about Pooh losing hope of finding Christopher Robin. It ended with Pooh falling asleep beside the tree, while Rabbit (who was watching him) covers him up with the map that Owl made them like a blanket, and bows his head sadly, before looking up at the tree.
A pop version was covered by Barry Coffing and Vonda Shepard during the end credits of the film. The song was also featured in Disneyland Paris' show Winnie the Pooh and Friends Too.

Come out, moon
Come out, wishing star
Come out, come out
Wherever you are
I'm out here in the dark,
All alone and wide awake
Come and find me
I'm empty and I'm cold,
And my heart's about to break
Come and find me
I need you to come here and find me
'Cause without you, I'm totally lost
I've hung a wish on every star
It hasn't done much good so far
I can only dream of you
Wherever you are
I'll hear you laugh
I'll see you smile
I'll be with you
Just for a while
But when the morning comes,
And the sun begins to rise,
I will lose you
Because it’s just a dream,
When I open up my eyes,
I will lose you
I used to believe in forever,
But forever is too good to be true
I've hung a wish on every star
It hasn't done much good so far
I don't know what else to do
Except to try to dream of you
And wonder, if you're dreaming too
Wherever you are
Wherever you are...
Barry:
Come out, moon
Come out, wishing star
Come out, come out...
Wherever you are.
I'm out here in the dark,
All alone and wide awake
Come and find me
Vonda:
I'm empty and I'm cold,
And my heart's about to break
Come and find me
Both:
I need you to come here and find me
'Cause without you, I'm totally lost
Barry:
I've hung a wish on every star
It hasn't done much good so far
I can only dream of you...
Both:
Wherever you are.
Vonda:
But when the morning comes,
And the sun begins to rise,
I will lose you
Because it's just a dream,
When I open up my eyes,
I will lose you
I used to believe in forever,
But forever's too good to be true
Barry:
I've hung a wish on every star
Both
It hasn't done much good so far!
I can only dream of you
Wherever you are.
(Guitar solo)
I'll hear you laugh
I'll see you smile
I'll be with you...
Vonda:
Just for a while!
Barry:
Oh, I'll be there just for a while!
(Guitar solo/Instrumental)
Both:
Ooh...
I used to believe in forever...
Barry:
But forever's too good to be true.
I've hung a wish on every star
Both:
It hasn't done much good so far!!
I don't know what else to do
Barry:
Except to try to dream of you!
Both:
And wonder, if you're dreaming too...
Wherever you are.
Wherever you... are.
