When You Wish Upon A Star is the opening song to Pinocchio. It is sung by Cliff Edwards (as Jiminy Cricket) over the opening titles, and is reprised by a chorus at the end of the film. It is frequently used as a theme song for the Disney Company. It won the Academy Award for 'Best Original Song'; the American Film Institute also voted it the seventh greatest song in movie history. The SOng is also the official theme of The Walt Disney Company.
