"What Should I Do?" is the theme song of Disney's educational series of the same name. It was written by Mel Leven. The song is reprised at the end after the children think possible solutions to a problem and the song tells the viewer to make his own conclusion

It should be noted that in the closing reprise, the names of the three children named in the song change with each different short, so their names are represented by an "X", a "Y" and a "Z".

Lyrics

Life is so full of little problems, each single day we meet a few

And you ask yourself, you ask yourself, what-what-what should I do?

Is there a special rule to follow? It's up to you to find a clue

But you ask yourself, you ask yourself, what-what-what should I do?

You may have months, you may have weeks, you may have overnight

Or maybe just a moment to choose the course that's right

Let's take a given situation with a decision up to you

And you ask yourself, you ask yourself, what-what-what should I do?

What-what-what-what-what-what should I do?

(closing)

So there is a given situation, now the decision's up to you.

And if you were X or Y or Z, what-what-what would you do?

What-what-what-what-what-what would you do?
