    Sometimes, being a grown-up stinks. What were we rushing for all those years ago? We didn't know how good we had it. I'm not just referring to the lack of day-to-day worries either, like rent, housework, health insurance, what to make for dinner, etc. I also mean the lack of BIG time worries, like war, politics, terrorism and all-around crazy people. When you are a kid, you know that those are "bad things" and see how they make your parents upset, but you really can't comprehend how they could possibly affect your life. That kind of rational distress is shouldered squarely by grown ups.
