Remember Disney's 1959 live-action movie, Darby O'Gill and the Little People? The only Disney movie to star legendary James Bond actor, Sean Connery? The one film that first brought Sean Connery to the attention of producer Albert R. Broccoli, who at the time was casting the first James Bond film, Dr. No and later hired Connery on the recommendation of his wife, Dana just like how Walt Disney himself named his first character, Mickey Mouse instead of Mortimer right after Mickey Rooney through his wife, Lillian's suggestion?

Well, what would you all say and feel like if they ever made a possible 21st century remake of the film in the future the same way they are now making a 2016 of Disney's 1977 hybrid movie,Pete's Dragon? Just think, a new Disney movie that stars Sean Connery once again; only this time, he plays the main important role as Darby O'Gill himself (since he is still the only surviving member of the original movie cast for who knows how much longer) and Johnny Depp plays Michael MacBride and Anne Hathaway plays the role of Darby's daughter, Katie O'Gill.

If anyone has any other good ideas about what other actors to star in this possible film like for example someone to play the role of King Brian...... Feel free to add your comments and replies here. And if any of you think this is good idea, let me know as well.

Remember everyone, this NOT a movie that is really being remade. It's just a thought and my idea of new movie that just came to me today which could make a great movie; almost as great as the original one ever since I first saw it this year in September on Youtube.

EXCLUSIVE: A Youtube user has created a petition concerning a possible remake of Disney's Darby O'Gill and the Little People where Sean Connery could play the role of Darby O'Gill this time. Already 3 (counting me) have signed in.

He also said he would send it to Disney and tweet to Sean Connery too.

Anyway, feel free to share this petition with everyone on the wiki and some of your friends too if you like
