The story begins at the Enchancian Castle were the royal family (Roland, Miranda, Amber, and James) is waiting for Sofia (wearing her Ruby-Pink adventure outfit from the episode “The Bamboo Kite”) and her animal friends (Minimus, Clover, What-Nut, Robin, and Mia) to arrive on her Magical Crystalline Carriage/Sled (from the episode “Olaf, And The Tale Of Miss Nettle”, but transformed into a 2-wheeled carriage) back from the Manor House to spend her one-week vacation with the family.
During a family dinner (honoring Sofia’s visit), King Roland asked Sofia if she can join him tomorrow for the grand opening of the new bridge to Ramblingham with Lord Gilbert and his daughter Lady Joy. Sofia said she loved to, and looking forward to meet her friend Joy during the ceremony on her first day of her one-week vacation.
It is morning; Sofia (wearing her Ruby-Pink signature dress of course) arrives with her father (via royal carriage) to the new bridge were Lord Gilbert is waiting for them on the other side of the bridge. Sofia waves to Joy saying “Hi”, waiting for their fathers to cut the ribbon (in the center of the bridge) and announce the grand opening of the new bridge. Sofia and Joy are so happy to see each other again.
After the grand opening ceremony, King Roland and Lord Gilbert are on their way to the castle for a meeting to discuss future projects for the kingdom and its capital. But Lady Joy has to return to Ramblingham taking care of other things to do back at Gilbert’s palace. Sofia asked her father if she could go with Joy to Ramblingham for a tour and visit their palace. Roland gave Sofia permission and told her that he will send his coachman to take Gilbert home after meeting, and pick her up back to the castle before dinner. Sofia agrees and hopes on Gilbert’s carriage with Lady Joy.
Before entering Ramblingham (while still in the suburbs), Joy shows Sofia the outside view of a large city with a high-towered clock (looking like the Big Ben of London, and the Eiffel Tower of Paris) as a landmark, a Derby Port for flying horses and carriages to take-off and land safely, a large Derby Arena for derby races and stunt horse shows, an indoor/outdoor entertainment district for all kinds of sports and activities such as: Flying Horseshoe Toss, DazzleBall, Go-Carriage Racetrack, Roller-Circle Racetrack and Roller-Circle Field Hockey (same roller-circles James was wearing from the episode “King For The Day”), a carnival with amazing attractions and rides, a circus with amazing shows including “The Golden wing Circus”.
When entering the city, it is full of people walking on every sidewalk, window-shopping in every store (bakeries, jewelries, clothing, etc…), walking and shopping around the market place, enjoying some meals in every restaurant, having a coffee break in every coffee shop, going to a museum and a theater, horses with carriages cruising in every street and every avenue, having a great time at a green-spaced Central Park with a man-made lake (a historical version of New-York Central Park). Sofia was so excited to visit Ramblingham.
Finally, Lady Joy shows Sofia the outside view of Lord Gilbert’s palace before entering: The Palace Of Ramblingham. After entering the main gate, Sofia was welcomed as a new guest by the palace steward named Theodore. Then, she spotted a little boy (Prince Chad’s age) taking his palace dog to the front yard for a walk.
Sofia: Joy! Who’s that boy in the yard with the dog?
Lady Joy: That’s my little brother, his name is Jeremy. He loves taking his dog for a walk during his spare time and loves playing DazzleBall. (To Jeremy) Jeremy, come say hi to my new friend, Princess Sofia of Enchancia.
Jeremy: Hi Princess Sofia, nice to meet you.
Sofia: Nice to meet you too Jeremy.
Lady Joy: Come on Sofia, let me show you inside the palace.
Before entering the palace, Sofia heard horse sounds coming from the sky, when she looked up, she saw three young talented boys (Hugo’s age) and their flying horses doing their final stunt moves before landing towards the royal stable located in the backyard of the palace. Sofia asked Joy about them.
Lady Joy: See that guy on the left (talking to his friends on the right). That’s my big brother Gregory, he is the crown prince and future duke of the city.
Sofia: I see him. What about the others?
Lady Joy: The guy standing in the middle is Prince Sebastian, everyone calls him Bas (as in short name). His father is the duke of Frostville, the major city and capital town of Freezenburg.
Sofia: That’s where my friend Princess Hildegard lives, she is King Henrik’s daughter.
Lady Joy: The other guy on the right is Prince Carlos. His father is the duke of Aquapolis, the major city and capitol town of Corinthia.
Sofia: That’s where my friend Princess Clio lives, she is the princess of this kingdom.
Lady Joy: Wow! Sounds like you’ve meat them before.
Sofia: That’s because they are my sister Amber’s best friends.
Theodore (ringing the hand bell): Young Highnesses, lunch is ready.
Lady Joy: Thank you Theodore, on our way. (Talking to Sofia) Hungry Sofia?
Sofia: I am now.
Sofia joins Joy and Jeremy for lunch at the children’s only dining room (similar to the dining room from the episode “Minimus Is Missing”), because Lord Gilbert is still at the Enchancian castle for a long meeting with King Roland. At the same time, Gregory and his friends (Bas and Carlos) are on their way to have lunch until they were surprised to see a princess (Sofia of course) with Joy and Jeremy. Joy introduces her brother Gregory and his friends to “Princess Sofia Of Enchancia”. Gregory and the boys welcomed Sofia, told her their names and joined them for lunch.
Meanwhile after lunch, Lady Joy and Jeremy shows Sofia around the palace, while Gregory and his friends are in the palace backyard chatting, enjoying their hobbies and past-times. After touring the palace, Lady Joy and Jeremy shows Sofia around the family room were Theodore (the palace Stewart) prepared some brownies and hot chocolate for a little desert. Sofia had a great time with Joy and Jeremy until Gregory and friends decided to join them too.
Sofia (along with Joy and Jeremy) started chatting with the boys about what they do, what they like, and what are their favorite hobbies and past-times. When Gregory and the boys told her everything, Sofia realized that their personalities are almost a close match to Amber and her friends (Hildegard and Clio). When the boys (Gregory, Bas, and Carlos) heard Sofia mentioning the three princesses (Amber, Hildegard, and Clio), they asked Sofia and wanted to know more about them and how they look. Sofia gave the boys all the information and how the three princesses look by secretly transforming her disguised hand fan/wand into a magical paintbrush (from the episode “The Princess Stays In The Picture”) for an instant picture (similar to how Marla takes pictures of Lucinda from the episode “Cauldronation Day”). Gregory and his friends loved the pictures of the three pretty princesses.
According to Sofia’s research:
· Amber and Gregory: Both love riding horses and unicorns (but Gregory loves unicorns only when he sees a princess riding on it), both love looking at the stars and studied astrology. Gregory goes Roller Circling, and plays DazzleBall.
· Hildegard and Bas: Both love enchanted painting. Bas goes skiing, ice-skating, and plays ice-hockey. Dreaming of ice dancing with a princess in his life.
· Clio and Carlos: Both love theater plays and singing. Carlos goes swimming, diving, and plays water polo.
Bas (asking Sofia): Where did you get this magical paintbrush?
Sofia: I took enchanted painting and sorcery class at Royal Prep.
Carlos: What is Royal Prep?
Sofia: It is a school where students from every kingdom can learn everything about royalty, enjoying all kinds of activities, and make new friends.
Gregory: Wow! Sounds like they have everything we don’t.
Sofia: You’ve never been to school before?
Lady Joy: Actually Sofia, we are home school.
Jeremy: And our teacher shows up every three days a week.
Sofia: What kind of classes did he give you?
Gregory: Same old classes we already learned and nothing new such as Literature, History, Math, and Science. I wish we could visit Royal Prep one day.
Sofia: Why don’t you ask your dad to take you there for a tour?
Gregory: Because he’s always busy and doesn’t have time for any kind of trip.
Theodore: Young Highnesses, the duke has returned and the royal coachman of Enchancia is awaiting Princess Sofia.
Lady Joy: Thank you Theodore, and tell the coachman that Princess Sofia is on her way.
Theodore: Right away Lady Joy.
Before leaving Ramblingham Palace, Sofia thanked Lady Joy and her brothers for visiting, and asked Gregory and his friends (Bas and Carlos) for their pictures to take them with her and show them to Amber and her friends (Hildegard and Clio). Gregory gave Sofia permission, hoping this might encourage his father to visit Royal Prep someday. Sofia also thanked Lord Gilbert for this visit and heads back to the Enchancian castle before dinner.
During a family dinner, Roland asked Sofia about her visit to Ramblingham.
Sofia: It was amazing dad, I never knew the city would be that huge with lots of people shopping and having a great time in every place full of attractions, and the palace is perfect to visit. We should all go together to Ramblingham someday as a family.
Roland: We will Sofia. In fact, we are heading directly to Ramblingham tomorrow after school to celebrate Capital Day.
James: What is Capital Day?
Miranda: It is a day where the capital town in every kingdom was born.
Roland: And we (the royal family) honor this day by visiting the capital town, and have dinner with the duke and his family.
Sofia: Do we still have time to show Amber and James around the city?
Roland: Of course. The duke will send his children to take all of you around the city for a tour all afternoon, while Lord Gilbert and I finish our meeting for the capital day ceremony.
Sofia: That will be great, but I still feel bad for Lady Joy, her brothers, and their friends.
Miranda: Is there something wrong?
Sofia: Gregory told me that they have never been to Royal Prep because they are home school.
Amber: You mean they have never gone to school before, why?
Sofia: Because Lord Gilbert is always busy and never heard about Royal Prep. His children were dreaming that one day they go to school, learn everything, and make new friends. (To Roland) Is there any way we can encourage the duke about it dad?
Roland: I’m not sure Sofia, but we’ll figure out the way to encourage the duke later after the festival.
Miranda: Time will tell. Come on kids, it’s almost bedtime.
On their way to their bedrooms, Sofia whispering Amber for something important.
Sofia: Amber, can you meet me at my room for a moment?
Amber: What for?
Sofia: You’ll see!
Amber: I’ll be right there, but let me put on my night gown first.
Sofia: OK! I’ll be waiting in my room.
After entering Sofia’s room (wearing their night gowns), Amber wonders what Sofia is up to this time. Sofia told her everything about Gregory and showed her his picture. Amber was surprised of how cool and handsome Gregory looks, and ready to help encourage Lord Gilbert to take his kids to Royal Prep. Sofia also told Amber that they need help from Hildegard and Clio concerning Bas and Carlos (Gregory’s friends). Amber agreed.
Midday at Royal Prep: During recess, Sofia and Amber asking Hildegard and Clio a favor by showing them the pictures of Bas and Carlos. The Duos (Hildy and Clio) loved the pics and ready to help after getting more information about Bas and Carlos from Sofia.
Afternoon at Royal Prep and the students are ready to leave. King Henrik arrived to pick up his daughter Hildegard. Asking if she wants to go to Frostville with him for Capital Day, or take her home. Hildegard decided to go to Frostville on a first father/daughter trip, which Henrik was surprised to see her starting to change and making him proud. Henrik promised Hildegard that the duke and the duchess of Frostville will send their son Bas to take her on a tour to the city. Hildy agreed and ready to meet Bas and his parents before the tour.
Clio’s parents (King and Queen Of Corinthia) arrived to pick up their daughter. Asking if she wants to go to Aquapolis with them for Capital Day, or take her home. Clio decided to go to Aquapolis on a first family trip, which the king and queen were surprised to see her starting to change and making them proud. They promised Clio that the duke and duchess of Aquapolis will send their son Carlos to take her on a tour to the city. Clio agreed and ready to meet Carlos and his parents before the tour.
King Roland and Queen Miranda arrived to pick up their kids (Sofia, Amber, and James) and heading straight to Ramblingham for Capital Day.
Arriving to the palace of Frostville, the duke, the duchess and their son Prince Bas welcomed King Henrik and his daughter Princess Hildegard (wearing their winter coats from the episode “Olaf And The Tale Of Miss Nettle”) to the city. Looking at each other’s eyes, Bas greets Hildegard by kissing her right hand, making her face feeling red. The duke and the duchess order their son to show Hildegard around Frostville for a tour while they talk to Henrik about the preparations of the Capital Day Ceremony.
Arriving to the palace of Aquapolis, the duke, the duchess, and their son Prince Carlos welcomed the king and queen of Corinthia and their daughter Princess Clio to the city. Looking at each other’s eyes, Carlos greets Clio by kissing her right hand, making her face feeling red. The duke and the duchess order their son to show Clio around Aquapolis for a tour while they talk to the king and queen of Corinthia about the preparations of the Capital Day Ceremony.
Arriving to the palace of Ramblingham, Lord Gilbert and his children (Gregory, Lady Joy, and Jeremy) welcomed King Roland, Queen Miranda, and their children (Sofia, Amber, and James) to the city. As usual, Gilbert gives Roland a big hug he doesn’t like (same big hug from the episode “Sofia The Second”), making Queen Miranda and their children laugh quietly. Lady Joy welcoming Sofia back on her second visit, Gregory and Jeremy welcoming James and Amber. Looking at each other’s eyes, Gregory greets Amber by kissing her right hand, making her face feeling red. Gilbert orders his children to show the Enchancian children (Sofia, Amber, and James) around Ramblingham for a tour while he talks to Roland and Miranda about the preparations of the Capital Day Ceremony.
Bas (via carriage) showing Hildegard around Frostville: The mountain city is full of people walking on sidewalks, window-shopping in every store (bakeries, jewelries, clothing, etc…), walking and shopping around the market place, enjoying some meals in every restaurant, having a coffee break in every coffee shop, horses with carriages cruising in every street.
Reaching the final tour around the city, Bas shows Hildegard around the largest winter park in the city and the kingdom, The Winter Wonderland. It is full of attractions and amazing activities such as: Mountain Ski Slopes, Bobsleigh & Flat Sled Slides, a 4-in-1 Enchanted Ice-Rink (Curling, Ice-Skating for fun, Ice-Dancing, and Ice Hockey), and a winter amusement park with all kinds of rides and slides (historical version of course).
Reaching the final destination of the park, Bas shows Hildegard the Winter Wonderland’s biggest landmark, The Ice Crystal Castle. The castle is entirely made of ice and colorful crystal lights (both inside and outside), Hildegard was so excited and wanted to look inside the castle. After touring around the castle, Bas shows Hildegard to the castle throne (also made of ice and colorful crystal lights), he told her that whoever takes part of the ice-dancing recital (from the episode “Lord Of The Rink”) will be crowned ice-prince and ice-princess of the Ice Crystal castle and sit on its thrones. Hildegard liked the idea about the recital, she told Bas she only ice-skates normally, but never gone ice dancing before. Bas said he will teach her a few steps and sends a fashion designer to give her an ice-dancing outfit (close to Princess Maya’s ice-dancing outfit during practice from the episode “Lord Of The Rink”) for practice. Before practice, the tailor wanted to take a few measurements so he can come up with a perfect ice-dancing custom for Bas and Hildegard while they work on their rehearsals.
Carlos (via carriage) showing Clio around Aquapolis: The Beach shore city is full of people walking on sidewalks, window-shopping in every store (bakeries, jewelries, clothing, etc…), walking and shopping around the market place, enjoying some meals in every restaurant, having a coffee break in every coffee shop, horses with carriages cruising in every street.
Reaching the final tour around the city, Carlos shows Clio around the largest water park in the city and the kingdom, The Aqua Marina Cove. It is full of attractions and amazing activities such as: Beach Volleyball, Beach Dazzleball, Beach Racket, Swimming, Diving, Water Polo, All-In-One Surfing (Surfboards with and without surf sails, Surfing with paragliders), and an amusement water park with all kinds of rides and slides (historical version of course).
Reaching the final destination of the water park, Carlos shows Clio the Aqua Marina Cove’s biggest landmark, The Oyster Theater. The stage inside the theater looks like an open-mouthed giant clam, a pool for water shows in the middle between the stage on this side and the audience seats on the other side. Clio loved the theater and dreaming of singing on its stage, Carlos told her that the stage director is hosting a tryout, looking for two leading roles to play a mermaid princess and a merman prince for tonight’s Capital Day ceremony. When Clio and Carlos took part of this tryout, the stage director loved their talents and quickly chose them to get the lead and start rehearsing for tonight’s ceremony.
Clio wonders how she can sing and swim like a mermaid, Carlos reveals he is half-human and half-merman, his father is human and his mother is a mermaid. Aquapolis is a home of humans and merpeople living in peace and harmony. Carlos has a magical merman wristband on his wrist and gives Clio a magical mermaid necklace (as a welcoming gift) that allows them to transform into a merman and a mermaid. Clio loved the way she looks as a mermaid and ready to practice on stage with Carlos (in his merman form).
Back at Ramblingham (via carriage), Lord Gilbert’s kids (Gregory, Lady Joy, and Jeremy) showing King Roland’s kids (Sofia, Amber, and James) around the city. Before reaching and touring the city’s indoor/outdoor entertainment district, each split into a pair of two, Sofia pairing with Lady Joy, James pairing with Jeremy, and Amber pairing with Gregory. The two pairs (Sofia&Lady Joy, James&Jeremy) entering the entertainment district to enjoy all kinds of activities while Amber and Gregory continue their tour (via carriage) around the city.
It is almost sunset after touring the city; Gregory takes Amber to the central park for a walk, starting to know each other, talk to each other, looking at the stars together, until reaching the final destination of the park, an outdoor stage for hosting musical shows. Gregory told Amber this stage is going to host a unicorn musical show for the capital day ceremony tonight; Amber can hardly wait to watch the show.
A few seconds later, they hear a bad news from the stage director feeling angry and shocked; Gregory asked what the bad news is. The stage director said that they might cancel the show tonight because the lady who was suppose to play the unicorn princess injured her leg and has to stay home for one weak and her unicorn is catching a cold. Amber and Gregory are shocked because of the bad news, they told the director not to cancel the show and they will quickly figure out how by heading back to the entertainment district and tell their siblings about it.
Sofia has an idea; she said that Amber should play the role of the unicorn princess and bring Lyra (Amber’s unicorn and birthday present from the episode “Two Princesses And The Baby”) straight from the enchancian castle, and everyone agreed. Gregory orders his coachman to take Amber, Sofia, and Lady Joy to the castle while he, James, and Jeremy deal with the preparations of tonight’s ceremony.
Arriving to the castle, Amber orders Baileywick and the stable boy to bring her unicorn Lyra from the castle stable immediately, but the question is how. Sofia whispers Lyra that only she can talk to animals because of her amulet and tells her everything about the unicorn musical show taking place in Ramblingham. Lyra reveals to Sofia that her magical white horn can release magical gold dust that allows her to run and fly up in the sky by showing her in front of Amber (feeling so happy and excited) and Lady Joy she can really fly. Then, Lyra flies back down to let Amber hop on her back while Sofia and Lady Joy hops on the carriage with the coachman flying back to Ramblingham in time for the Capital Day ceremony.

Hildy and Bas loved their customs and ready to wear them.
Meanwhile, King Henrik of Freezenburg and the duke and duchess of Frostville arrived to Winter Wonderland’s Enchanted Ice-Rink to watch the ice-dancing recital, wondering where their kids (Hildegard and Bas) are until the presenter showing up and said: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome our ice-dancers for the Capital Day ceremony, Princess Hildegard and Prince Bas. Their parents were shocked to see their kids in the rink, but wishing them good-luck for the recital.
Hildegard and Bas started ice-dancing magically in the rink and up in the air with all kinds of dance moves they learned during practice until reaching the final move called “The Twisted Snowflakes” to end the show (similar to “The Spinning Dragon” from the episode “Lord Of The Rink”). Everyone cheered for Hildy and Bas, their parents are waiting in the main entrance of the rink to congratulate them, making it the best Capital Day ceremony ever. The Royal Sleigh with Reindeers awaiting Hildy and Bas for the Capital Day parade touring the streets of Frostville in front of the crowds all the way to the Ice Crystal Castle sitting on the Ice-Thrones for the crowning of the ice-princess and the ice-prince.
During the crowning celebrations inside the Ice-Crystal castle, King Henrik told his daughter Hildegard he was furious because she did not tell him about taking part of the recital, but proud of her because she is starting to change and take part of every activity. So as the duke and the duchess, telling their son Bas how proud they are for making Capital Day the best night ever. Asking their children how to thank them as a reward, Hildegard told the duke and the duchess that Bas deserves to go to Royal Prep were he can learn everything about royalty, attending every class and every activity, and make new friends. King Henrik agreed with his daughter and did the rest of the talking, Bas’ parents said they would negotiate with their son and think about it.

Their parents were shocked to see their kids on stage, but wishing them good-luck for the show.
Clio and Carlos started singing and dancing magically on stage and in the pool (forming between human and mermaid/merman) with all kinds of dance moves they learned during practice until reaching the final move called “The Tidal Wave” to end the show (similar to “The Spinning Dragon” from the episode “Lord Of The Rink”). Everyone cheered for Clio and Carlos, their parents are waiting on stage to congratulate them, making it the best Capital Day ceremony ever. The Royal Carriage (looking like an open-mouthed Oyster Shell) awaiting Clio and Carlos for the Capital Day parade touring the streets and the shores of Aquapolis in front of the crowds all the way back to the Aqua Marina Cove sitting on the Oyster Shell Thrones for the crowning of the mermaid-princess and the merman-prince.
