Disney DVD Replacement

I know that you can send scratched and damaged DVDs to Disney so they can replace them (details here). But I am wondering if they accept old DVDS (I have a 2005 Platinum Edition of Cinderella that is very scratched), because I really need to know before spending any money. Thank you.
