In 1984, Walt Disney Home Video introduced "The Classics" line of videos which was known for the "Black Diamond" logo on videos. The logo starts off with the Walt Disney Home Video logo flying in extremely close to the screen looking like if it's going to pop out at you then it followed by "The Classic" in a font that looks like a bad neon sign in white. The two logos spin around while a big black diamond zooms up and the navy blue background shrinks as the diamond zooms up and then a white neon diamond frame zooms out and plasters itself on the black diamond. The music is a rather annoying piece of Moog synthesized Medieval-style horn/flute fanfare that sounds rather bouncy and not too mention rather "cheesy". This logo was short lived on 1984-1987 Walt Disney Classics video releases.
In closing, the 1984 Walt Disney Classics logo is the cheesiest of all Disney home entertainment logos ever!
