The Two Hungry Children are minor characters in Aladdin who are homeless. Presumably, their parents are dead and they must fend for themselves on the street. They are first seen by the titular character after he has succeeded at stealing a loaf of bread from the bazaar and fled soldiers. Just as he and Abu are about to enjoy a meal, they notice the two kids who seem to be in greater need of it, causing Aladdin to give it to them, as well as convincing Abu to do the same (albeit over the monkey's protests).
They were later seen in the street as Prince Achmed was riding by. They accidentally ran out into the street and angered the mean prince, who was going to whip them for being in his way. Aladdin saves them at the last minute, who seizes the whip and reprimands the prince for his arrogant behavior towards defenseless children who meant no harm.
The kids reappear in a cameo in The Return of Jafar.
They also appear in the TV series episode "Caught by the Tale" (where they are named Kaveed and Yani). They later made a cameo appearance in the House of Mouse episode "Dining Goofy". At the House of Mouse, they are seen sharing a table with Aladdin and expressing joy at being served a loaf of bread on a plate, a likely reference to how the three first met.
