Built on the opposite side of Sahara Square's climate wall, Tundratown generates cold weather to cater to the mammals who thrive in such an environment. Due to the entire district (including the buildings) being made of ice, transportation vehicles are designed with skis or tracks to maneuver the slippery landscape. Tundratown also enables access to winter sports, including skiing, snowboarding or skidoo, and is covered in frozen lakes that double as mobile transport for mammals via floating ice caps.
- Elsa's Signature Snowflake from the movie Frozen can be seen throughout the district.
- The railroad bridge over Tundratown is likely inspired by the Tunkhannock Viaduct, a concrete deck arch bridge that spans the Tunkhannock Creek in Nicholson, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
- One of the buildings in Tundratown happens to be Saint Basil's Cathedral, except more in a glacier and icy theme. Hint: It's located near one of the restaurants in Tundratown: Chill Out.
