Tuff Gum is a jingle in the Season 2 episode "Suddenly Suzy" as part of the advertisement promoting Tuff Gum.
Lyrics
Edit
- Phineas: What's that grinding sound?
- Buford: Tuff Gum! Like the song says...
- Male Singer: Pound nerds like a drum
- Stop a train with your thumb
- It's Tuff Gum!
- Phineas: Wow, Can I have some?
- Buford: Nah, I don't think so. It's for bullies only.
- Phineas: Hey Ferb, you got any regular gum?
- Male Singer: Regular gum!
- Regular gum!

Victory Gum is a similar jingle from the movie "Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension". It is used to promote the Victory Gum that Buford chews on. The product along with its jingle are very similar to that of Tuff Gum. The motto on the wrapper is "Even if you win by forfeiture".
Notes
Edit
- The teen who is beating up the boy was the same "local bully" that almost ate Biff in "Voyage to the Bottom of Buford". Evidently, he patronizes Tuff Gum.
- The description on the wrapper says "For guys who can't spell". One may note that this motto is present because of the word "Tough" being spelled wrong.
- Victory Gum, another gum Buford eats, is very similar to the jingle above and has its own jingle that is very similar to the above jingle ("Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension").
- In the song Snacks, Linda Flynn mentions Tuff Gum.
