"True Bromance" is the sixth episode of the second season (and fifty-eighth episode overall) of Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja. It premiered on September 30, 2014.

Synopsis[]

Howard finds some other friends to hang with, causing a jealous Randy to plot a way to drive a wedge between Howard and his new bros.

Plot[]

The episode begins as a dragon was seen in an arcade machine, which Randy and Howard were playing at Greg's Game Hole. Randy and Howard were going to beat Grave Puncher Bro Edition together, and Randy asked Howard to throw his drink, which makes Bucky slip, and utters another zing. Soon, the duo were at the final level, Level 0.

Bucky started playing on his triangle, announcing that there's a monster outside. Howard asks Randy to stay and complete the game together, but instead, he told Howard to hang with Bucky before he returns. And Randy ran off. Howard then tells Bucky if they win or lose, Bucky will buy him lunch.

Once Randy ran outside, he sees stanked Flute Girl, carrying Rachel in her mouth, and runs off. Randy found Flute Girl in the ally and asks himself (why is Flute Girl angry at, what's her name, Claire, or was it Annette?). Rachel then shouts back (my name is Rachel!) Randy then realizes, only to say to himself (nah, that can't be right!). Rachel then tells the ninja that Stevens gave her a trombone lesson and Flute Girl got jealous, so he runs up to a bin, where Stevens was hiding. He immediately threw his trombone in the air and slices it, destanking Flute Girl, and smoke bombs out. To her dismay, Rachel was still hanging on the edge of the building.

Randy then remove his mask and meets Howard back at the Game Hole, only to see him and Bucky beat the game. Randy, who was surprised, told Howard he will be right back with some nachos, but Bucky already had them in his hand. Howard and Bucky left the game hole, leaving Randy behind. The next day, Randy was chasing a giant spider built by Viceroy. He sliced it into half, only to be greeted by mini-spiders. Howard calls Randy, asking him why isn't he at his house. Randy replies that he is fighting spiders. Howard laughs and does a spider-zing. Randy put down his phone, wondering why Howard zinged.

The next day, Randy explains to Howard that he was not at his place as he was wringing spider goo out of his underpants. But while Randy was speaking, Howard passed Accordion Dave something, saying he left it at his place, which makes Randy even more surprised (YOU JAMMED WITH ACCORDION DAVE TOO?). Howard then passes by Pradeep, who thanks Howard for the sleepover. Randy has his mouth opened (PRADEEP WAS THERE TOO??) Howard then talks to Randy, but Ra day lies to Howard, saying that the Nomicon is buzzing, and enters the bathroom. Inside the Nomicon, Randy learns that "The jealous dragon slays what he should protect". He immediately said that he should protect Howard from his false bros, and shloomps out of the Nomicon.

Later, Randy (as the ninja) passes fake notes to Bucky, Accordion Dave and Pradeep, asking them to meet Howard on the roof. He then appears in front of Howard and he sat down with him. Howard then tells Randy that he is his true bro, the other guys are just casual bros, which made Randy feel guilty about passing the notes to them. Back on the roof, Pradeep was complaining about how Howard asked them to meet on the roof, when he wasn't going to be there. Due to thinking that Howard betrayed them, The Sorcerer got the opportunity to stank the three students.

Back in the lunchroom, a loud crash was heard, and stanked Bucky, Accordion Dave and Pradeep was standing there. They immediately grabbed Howard and tossed him around. Randy immediately ninja out and fought the three of them, freeing Howard. Randy realizes that he has to destroy Howard to destank them, but he can't. He was brought back by what the Nomicon taught him, that he must PROTECT Howard instead of SLAYING him. So Randy unninjas, and confessed to the three of them that it was all his fault. Bucky, Accordion Dave and Pradeep immediately destank, much to The Sorcerer's misfortune. In the end, Randy told Howard he will never leave him hanging again. In the background, Stevens was blowing his trombone, while stanked Flute Girl was chasing him again. Randy then leaves Howard hanging again and chases after Flute Girl. Howard whispers to himself that Stevens is a tomcat.
