  • I am one of the many fans who loves Frozen despite Let It Go being played to death. But the one thing that dissapoints me about the Frozen culture is the lack of respect for Anna. I understand that "Elsa" is the breakout character in the core of the movie, however, people overlook the fact that this is ultimately Annas story. Anna is a fantastic character that is overshadowed by Elsa and it upsets me.

So, what do you think should happen in Frozen 2 to place Anna back into the spotlight again?

    • I think focus on other sides of Anna. Her thawing the ice from her mind allowed her to judge things more clearly, and that would certainly change her character. Anna also left behind her earlier dreams for Elsa and Arendelle, so her leaving the kingdom in search of her desires would be a good idea--show she's independent.

    • Hmmm... 80% of Elsa's popularity (just to clarify something I'm not against that, I just want Anna just as popular as her) is from her song Let it go, so in order to be more popular, Anna should have an epic solo song, and TBH I have enjoyed the first part of FTFTIF better than Let it go.

Yeah, that is a good idea. it'd give another reason for her to be a character that breaks conventional archetypes. I wonder if any new lands and characters from the Frozen children storybooks are going to be canon for the sequel of the movie?

That is true. We just live in a world where popular songs define quite a lot of things. Same here, For The First Time In Forever is a far better song than let It Go. Sure, it can be argued that Let It Go had the better message, but, For The First Time In Forever had that traditional broadway musical style Disney was popular for! In all in support for a popular song for Anna!

Here's an idea I had, what if Anna harboured fire powers. I mean, it's be the perfect contrast from Elsa and it be a justifiable reason to place her back to the spotlight again.

I think Anna already has powers--the powers of super strength and endurance. She was able to punch Hans into the fjord, and was able to survive for hours while freezing.

    • Recently, reports and rumours say that Anna might end up becoming a villain herself, is that ridiculous or what?

Yeah, that's sounds ridiculous... actually, here's a good plot idea.

Imagined if Elsa was stolen as a baby rather than being biologically related? Just like Loki in the Thor movie, Anna's father stole Elsa during a war against another nation (a group of Ice people), however, Anna's fathers true intentions for stealing Elsa were selfish as opposed to actually taking care of her, because, he wanted to rule as many nations as possible and he seen Elsa as a royal with Ice Powers to be the perfect catalyst to do so. It may also explain why Annas father wanted both Anna and Elsa seperated (so that a rift is purposely caused between the two to make Anna's father objective easier to accomplish). Imagine if Frozen 2, Anna and Elsa find out that their parents are still alive, that there are other people with "Ice Powers" and that Anna has to face the reality of realising that Elsa was in her family for a weapon as opposed to being "a sister".

In layman terms, Anna's dad's the Frozen 2 villain, and, it's Anna's journey of confronting a harsh reality!

Good idea, except Elsa's a few years older.

Exactly! ever since she was hypothetically taken at a young age, she'd just assume that she was naturally part of Arendale's royal family. If Anna was the older one then she'd be telling Elsa the truth, but, because it's the other way round, Elsa wouldn't know any better.

    • Just as long as Anna isn't the villain, that sounds awesome!

    • I think the Duke of Weselton will be the villain in Frozen 2 he will probably seek revenge on Elsa and her Kingdom for cutting off ties with his Kingdom

Realistically it would have taken days for her to reach the top of the mountain.

    • Anna now is next in line for the Arendelle throne unless Elsa marries and produced an heir.

      Yeah I guess.

Still hope it doesnt happen in 2 though. I would be really bummed if Elsa isnt queen anymore. And I think lots of others would be too.

Plus it would ruin alot of merchandising you know?

    • Please Frozen Fans of Elsa, dear brave Anna loves her sister don't let the poor lonely sibbling be the villain that's a way to quickly ruin Anna's current reputation and quite likely to lower popularity of merchandise showing both sisters on tons of fabric items. Accidently letting pretty Anna be the villain is also a way to lose fans who've so far loved their books quite quick, especially with how emotional this whole story of Frozen can feel when you know what the two sisters are actually up to even though they're seperated.
