"The Robomechabotatron" is an episode of Wander Over Yonder. It aired on June 20, 2016.
Synopsis[]
Wander must convince Sylvia, Hater and Peepers to work together to control an ancient giant robot.
Plot[]
As Lord Dominator attacks the planet of Cluckon, Wander and Sylvia find the temple that houses the Robomechabotatron, a giant mech that had been used for fighting. Meanwhile, Lord Hater and Commander Peepers also desire to find the mech and arrive at the temple just as Wander and Sylvia have found it. They immediately fight over it with Hater and Peepers getting into the mech suit. They quickly discover however that it needs four pilots, but Hater refuses to concede. Wander and Sylvia manage to get in and kick them out of the top, but Sylvia quickly learns that someone else needs to pilot the arms.
On Cluckon, Dominator has grown bored with the easy trappings of planet destroying, but is informed about the heroes plan to use the Robomechabotatron. She becomes excited and gets her own mech, but slowly becomes bored when it takes a long time for them to arrive. Eventually, Wander convinces the group that they must work together in order to defeat Dominator and save the galaxy. The four, now adorned in the battle suits, enter the Robomechabotatron and finally work together as Dominator arrives in her mech to finally take the four of them on.
Wander quickly realizes that the mech suit is for fighting (he wanted to use it to spread love), but he allows the group to battle Dominator. However, this also means that he refuses to control his leg of the mech and Hater angrily slices him off. Their mech falls over and launches missiles at itself, blowing it up, though they manage to escape. Dominator is furious that she was cheated out of a mech fight and further angered that the Cluckons all managed to successfully escape their planet. As she angrily leaves, Sylvia, Hater and Peepers agree to never team up again while Wander believes they are all becoming friends.
