The Mouse's Tale is a Deleted Scene, from Dumbo, about Timothy Mouse giving a "History" lesson, to Dumbo, after he spooks the other Elephants, for picking on Dumbo?

Timothy Mouse explains to Dumbo that in Pre Historic Times, Elephants were larger and had more fur, Mice themselves were even larger (A Hundred times larger than a Big Top Tent, according to Timothy), who would chase the Elephants and toy with them, in a similar manner to a Cat and a Mouse.

While Mice then became much smaller, across the years, Timothy believes this to be why Elephants are still scared of Mice to this day, despite being much larger than them, now?

Disney Animation Producer; Don Hahn believes the reason this scene was cut was because it distracted from the main story of the Film?
