Mickey decides to clean Minnie's yard in exchange for a piece of Minnie's homemade cake. But its easier said than done when a little whirlwind keeps Mickey from finishing his chore. After many unsuccessful tries of getting rid of the little whirlwind, Mickey starts chasing it away with a rake until it calls its mother for help. The large mama whirlwind starts chasing Mickey, sucking everything in its path in the process and eventually Mickey himself. After wrecking Minnie's yard and dropping Mickey on Minnie's fountain, the two whirlwinds leave. Shortly after, Minnie arrives outside the yard to give Mickey some cake, but she finds out that her yard looks worse than before. Thinking that Mickey was the cause of it, Minnie angrily throws the cake at Mickey's head.

- This animated short introduced new, unique designs for both Mickey and Minnie that were short-lived. These changes in the designs included a slimmer body, perspective ears and a bigger head, hands and feet. These designs would last until 1942.
