The Emperor's New Groove is the thirty-ninth full-length animated feature film in the Disney canon.
The Emperor's New Groove was released on December 15, 2000, starring David Spade, Eartha Kitt, John Goodman and Patrick Warburton. This comedic buddy movie was directed by Mark Dindal and features music by Sting, who was nominated for an Academy Award for the song My Funny Friend and Me.

[edit] Synopsis
Emperor Kuzco, a young and self-absorbed ruler of his kingdom, decides to give himself the ultimate birthday gift, which will also destroy Pacha's, a llama herder, home in the process. Yzma, the Emperor's elderly advisor, and her muscle, Kronk, decide to do away with Kuzco, but turn him into a llama by mistake. For Kuzco to return to his original state, he must ask for the help of Pacha, and accept the fact that he's not the center of the universe.
