Tall Tales of The Gummi Bear is a small story book about the Gummi Bears which appears in the Adventures of the Gummi Bears episode "Light Makes Right".
It contains some information about, and the possible location of the great Gummiscope. At one point, a young Duke Igthorn owned a copy of this book. Recalling the power of the Gummiscope, he sneaks into Dunwyn Castle and enters the ruins of his childhood home to recover the copy.
Getting what he wanted, he escapes, but not before being spotted by Unwin and Cavin. Igthorn keeps the page about the Gummiscope, disposing of the rest of the book.
Cavin is suspicious about Duke Igthorn's interest in a children's book and decides to take his concerns to Zummi Gummi. Zummi is perplexed at first, and Gruffi denounces the book as useless, as some human wrote it. However, Grammi figures it is important if Igthorn would take a risk like infiltrating Dunwyn, and Cubbi reveals that he also owns a copy. Cubbi presents his intact book and the Gummies figure out how to locate the long-lost Gummiscope by Mount Sentinel.

Trivia[]
- Although never explained, some of the book's pages mention a character named "Toadie"; a possible hint towards Igthorn later being responsible for naming his main henchman.
- In a likely reference to the book Disney Animation: The Illusion of Life, the book contains a page with the words "Two of Gummi's famous Nine Old Bears, Frank and Ollie", honoring both of its authors, the famed Disney animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston, with a blink-and-you-miss-it inside joke.
