Stephen J. "Steve" Ditko (born November 2, 1927) is an American comic book artist, penciller, and inker, best known for co-creating the Marvel superheroes Spider-Man and Doctor Strange with Stan Lee. He also created Squirrel Girl, one of the most popular and beloved of Marvel superheroines.

Steve is perhaps the most mysterious figure in the comic book industry, having refused interviews since the 1960s.
