Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber; December 28, 1922) is an American comic book writer, editor, publisher, media producer, television host, actor, and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics. Due to his longtime association with Marvel Comics, Stan Lee cameos in most post-2000 movies based on Marvel comics. In non-Disney productions, he cameoed in X-Men, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Hulk, Spider-Man 2, Fantastic Four, X-Men: The Last Stand, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In Disney productions, he cameos in The Avengers, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Big Hero 6. His cameo in Big Hero 6 is especially relevant as he plays Fred's father. He is set to cameo in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and the non-Disney movie The Fantastic Four.
He also cameos in TV shows and TV movies based on Marvel comics. In non-Disney TV shows and TV Movies, he was the narrator in the 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon show and in Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, and he cameoed in Spider-Man: The Animated Series, The Incredible Hulk: The Animated Series, Trial of the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, Spectacular Spider-Man, Black Panther, and had a mayor role as the Mayor of Super Hero City in The Super Hero Squad Show. In Disney TV-shows and TV movies, he appeared in Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel (reprising his role as the hot dog vendor from X-Men), Ultimate Spider-Man (where he replaced Phil Coulson as principal of Midtown High after Coulson was made the star of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Avengers Assemble, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Surprisingly, he made a cameo in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, despite that movie not being based on a Marvel Comic.
