The Skeleton Pirates are a group of skeleton ghost pirates and the villains from James and the Giant Peach.

After Mr. Centipede gets caught, one of the Skeleton Pirates that was named Paul Bunyan tried, and failed to cut centipede in half. With the help of Mr. Centipede, Miss Spider and James Henry Trotter escaped with a compass. It appeared that Mr. Centipede got killed, but he came out in one piece. It's unknown if The Skeleton Pirates are still alive.

• The Skeleton Pirate Captain bears a strong resemblance to Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. And a sailor skeleton resembles Donald Duck.
