Sears, Roebuck & Company, also known simply as Sears, is an American chain of department stores founded in 1886.

From the mid-1960s until the 1990s, Sears was the exclusive provider of Winnie the Pooh merchandise. This is included marketing the Winnie-the-Pooh Collection line of children's clothing, sponsoring NBC's broadcasts of the animated Pooh featurettes, and having a walk-around Pooh from Disney's theme parks make in-store appearances.
