Richard Rodgers (June 281902-December 301979) and Oscar Hammerstein II (July 121895-August 231960) were an influential, innovative and successful American musical theatre writing team, usually referred to as Rodgers and Hammerstein. Best known for Oklahoma!CarouselSouth PacificThe King and I, and The Sound of Music.

They're also known for the television adaption of Cinderella, which the 1997 television film is based on.
