Frederick Allan "Rick" Moranis (born April 18, 1953) is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, screenwriter, producer, director, musician, singer, songwriter, and former DJ. He was also known for playing the role of Seymour Krelborn in the musical film version of Little Shop of Horrors, Dark Helmet (a parody of Darth Vader) in Mel Brooks' Spaceballs (a parody of Star Wars) and Louis Tully in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II.
For Disney, he starred as bumbling inventor, Wayne Szalinski in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and its sequels Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, and the Disney theme park attraction based on the films, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. He also voiced Rutt, the moose in Brother Bear and Brother Bear 2. He was the guest star in an episode of Muppets Tonight and was also notably the featured celebrity of both the October 1992 and July 1992 issues of Disney Adventures.
