Wilhelm Richard Wagner (May 23, 1813 - February 13, 1883) was a German composer, conductor, theatre director and polemist primarily known for his operas who is mostly known for his "Ride of the Valkyries," which had been used by Disney, such as the 1935 short Music Land during the battle scene, in the 2005 Disney film Valiant which Von Talon sung while taking a shower, in The Muppets Wizard of Oz sung by the Flying Monkeys and in the Disney Channel animated series The Emperor's New Schoolin the episode "Peasant for a Day" parodied by the song "Kuzco Alledgance."
