"Randall's Reform" is the second of two segments of the tenth episode of Recess.
Synopsis[]
T.J. and the gang finally accept Randall into their group, but could it be a trap?
Plot[]
Randall once again tattles on the Recess Gang when they attempt to steal a ball from the ball cart. Everyone is passed bad or defective ones while Randall gets the best one, though no one refuses to play with him and he ends up hitting himself in the nose with it. Jealous of T.J.'s popularity, he frames him for a misdemeanor, which simply consists of a note reading "I did it - T.J." and gets him sent to the wall. Randall confronts T.J. and breaks down, admitting that he wishes he was more like him. Intrigued, T.J. agrees to be friends with him on the condition that he stop tattling on them, though the rest of the Gang thinks this is a bad idea.
When other kids refuse to play with him, Randall finally decides to be more open with the Gang and takes them to a secret room where they keep more balls and helps them release them among the students. Miss Finster holds them up and demands that Randall confess to who let the balls out, but he covers and claims that he was tying his shoe when it happened. The Gang congratulate Randall, but when Miss Finster is giving out balls again, she gives the best one to her new assistant Douglas. Randall is upset over being replaced and T.J. admits that he should go back to her. Randall does so before letting the Gang take the blame for the balls. The Gang wonder why Randall would turn his back on them again, but T.J. slyly acknowledges that he is happy again.

- When Randall considers how he desires to be liked by the kids like T.J. is, T.J. is seen saying "And so Principal Prickly says 'that's no kindergartner, that's my wife!'" to his friends. Prickly was heard making a joke to the rest of the faculty with a similar punchline at the end in the ending to the episode "Teacher's Lounge".
