Quentin Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer, and actor who is known for directing films that have nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter and the aestheticization of violence, such as Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, the Kill Bill two-part films, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained. Actor Samuel L. Jackson has appeared in a lot of Tarantino's movies.

He made a cameo as himself in the 2005 ABC musical television film, The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. He also played an Elvis Presley impersonator in The Golden Girls.
