Queen are a British rock band that was formed in 1970. Their members are Brian May and Roger Taylor. The third member and bass guitarist was John Deacon, who retired in 1997; and the fourth member and frontman of the band was Freddie Mercury, who performed with the band until his death in 1991. They are considered one of the best rock bands in recent history, with thousands of fans all over the world and having produced several best-selling albums.
