During the song, Jafar uses his sorcery to revert Abu back to his monkey form. Jafar also defends himself from being mauled by Rajah by turning him into a kitten. Jafar also uses his newfound magic to strip Aladdin of his princely robes, revealing the street clothes he had at the beginning of the film, as well as change Jasmine's princess dress into the shabby clothes of a slave girl and the Sultan's clothes into a court jester's outfit.
Jafar ends his song by trapping Aladdin and Abu in a minaret and rocketing them off to Antarctica (which he does by imitating a golfer swinging his club, his staff being the club). Unknown to Jafar, he also sent Carpet on the trip, which later proved to be his undoing.
Several villain songs were to take place during these events that were eventually deleted. The songs include Why Me and Humiliate the Boy.
The lyrics were wrtten by Tim Rice while the music was composed by Alan Menken.
Yes, it is he
But not as you know him
Read my lips
And come to grips
Yes, meet a blast from your past
Whose lies were too good to last
Say hello to your precious Prince Ali!
Turns out to be
Just a con
Need I go on?
Take it from me
His personality flaws
Give me adequate cause
To send him packing on a one-way trip
So his prospects take a terminal dip
His assets frozen
The venue chosen
Is the ends of the earth. Whoopee!
So long, Ex-Prince Ali!
