Planet Turo is a location seen in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. It is where the Grand Councilwoman resides and works. The planet itself has never been viewed from space, however. According to supplementary material, it is also Stitch's "birth" planet.
In Lilo & Stitch, Turo appears when Jumba Jookiba is put on trial before the Grand Councilwoman and Galactic Federation, where he is accused of creating an illegal genetic experiment called "Experiment 626" (later known as Stitch). When Jumba pleads guilty and is imprisoned along with Stitch, the latter somehow manages to escape in a stolen federal police cruiser, where he ends up crash landing on Earth in Hawaii.
In Leroy & Stitch, Turo is seen when Lilo, Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley are greeted by the Grand Councilwoman, who then gives out rewards to each of them. Later in the movie, Stitch becomes the new captain of the Galactic Armada and rendezvouses with the Grand Councilwoman, where she gives Stitch the task to recapture Dr. Hämsterviel, who had been broken out of prison with Gantu's help. She then shows Stitch the B.R.B. 9000, which he will use to fly into outer space and seek out Hämsterviel. Turo is later overthrown by Hämsterviel and his Leroy army, and Lilo and Experiment 625 (recently known as Reuben) arrive there in Gantu's ship too late to save Stitch. Hämsterviel then orders Gantu to lock them up, but fires him in the process since the former now had Leroy to do his bidding. Gantu captures Lilo and Reuben, but decides to release them because Hämsterviel fired him. After a close call with several Leroy clones, they are trapped. All looks lost until Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley suddenly arrive in the G.A.C.C. ship. With no time to explain, Lilo, Reuben and Gantu all climb in and head for Earth. In the end, Hämsterviel and the entire Leroy army are successfully defeated and Turo is reinstated, where the Grand Councilwoman resumes her status there.
