- Not to be confused with Peaches, an antagonist in The 7D.
Peach is a pink-red starfish who can apparently read human. She is usually seen attached to the side of the tank, watching the dentist do his dental work on different patients. She announces what is going on to the rest of the Tank Gang. However, whenever Peach speaks, her voice is muffled against the glass (which is a running gag) and one of the other fish would say, "Can't hear you, Peach." She then unsticks herself from the glass so the gang can hear her clearly.
Peach first appears when Nemo arrives in the dentist's office fish tank when she tells Nemo that Bubbles, the yellow tang, is interested in bubbles, frightening the clownfish and hiding into a diving helmet decoration. When Nemo asks the Tank Gang to know where his father is, Peach tells Nemo that his father might be at the pet store, as she says that she is purchased from eBay, an online store. Peach and the other members of the Tank Gang are later seen watching the dentist doing a dental work on a patient. Later when Nemo frees himself after getting caught in a tube, Peach then explains to Gill that Nemo is from the ocean just like Gill. Later that night, Peach and the other members of the Tank Gang accept Nemo into their group while Gill makes a plan to escape the tank to escape the fish tank before Darla arrives.
The next day, Peach tells the Tank Gang that now is the time for Nemo to do the escape plan. Suddenly after Nemo successfully jams the filter fan with a pebble and the filter fan activates again, the Tank Gang rescues Nemo before he falls into the filter fan while Peach tells Gill not to let Nemo do this plan again as it is dangerous. The next day when the Tank Gang makes the tank filthy, Peach is seen playing with algae as she tells the Tank Gang that the dentist is arriving to clean the fish tank. The next day, Peach wakes up and discovers that the tank is clean as she explains to the Tank Gang about the new upgrade filter installed into the tank, the AquaScum 2003 which was installed into the tank and preventing the fish from escaping. Later when Darla arrives, Peach is seen humiliated by Darla tapping the glass along with the Tank Gang. Suddenly after the dentist shoos Nigel the pelican away, Peach later tells Bloat to use the volcano decoration Mount Wannahockaloogie as a cannon to launch Gill with the help of Deb, Bubbles, and Gurgle pushing the volcano decoration and Jacques preparing the "Ring of Fire" effect to stop Darla from harming Nemo in which Gill successfully does so. Soon after Gill is placed back into the tank, Peach can be seen in the background while Darla is unable to retrieve Nemo after he escapes using a drain as Gill says that all drains lead back to the ocean.
Later during the epilogue, Peach is seen still in a plastic bag as she successfully reaches the ocean after successfully escaping from the fish tank as the Tank Gang cheers for her for her success. During the credits, Peach can be seen moving up with the credits while clinging onto the screen. She suddenly falls off but immediately gets back onto the screen and disappears off the top part of the screen.
Peach and the rest of the Tank Gang are seen at the post credits of the film, still trapped in their algae-covered plastic bags. She and the rest of the Tank Gang are captured by two Marine Life Institute volunteers upon arriving in Morro Bay.
- Like Dory, Peach is able to read English as she was reading the manual on the AquaScum 2003.
- Peach was bought from eBay; however in real life, buying live animals on eBay is prohibited. Of course, it is possible that this particular sale was overlooked by the eBay redactors, as this sometimes happens.
- Peach has eyes and a mouth unlike other starfish. In real life, starfish do not have faces like vertebrate animals.
- In Finding Dory, one of the starfish resembling Peach resides in the Marine Life Institute's touch pool exhibit at the Kid Zone area. However, unlike Peach, this starfish speaks with a male voice and is colored purple.
- Coincidentally, Peach (whose model was reused for the one of the starfish at the touch pool exhibit) makes a cameo at the post-credits of the film.
