Paul Pressler

From The Unofficial DisneyWiki

Paul Pressler was the president of the Disneyland Resort until 2003, when he resigned and became CEO of The Gap. Paul Pressler is a controversial figure among Disneyland fans, as his presidency focused more on merchandise than attractions and maintenance, and also for the initial low quality of his Disney's California Adventure park, which opened in 2001. In 2007, Disney began a massive overhaul and expansion of the park to drastically improve its quality, at a cost of $1.1 billion, more than the park itself had originally cost to build. This expansion is well underway, with new attractions such as Toy Story Midway Mania! and Mickey's Fun Wheel now open, with The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Walt Disney's World of Color, Silly Symphony Swings, and Cars Land under construction.
