- “And my name is not Chuck!”
- ―Not Chuck, after Lightning McQueen calls him Chuck.
"His name is Not Chuck, not Chucky, not Chuck-meister, not Chaz, not Chet, not Charlie and not Charles. He's a firm believer that a racer is only as good as his tires are fresh, so his motto is, "Change them early and change them often."
Not Chuck is shown to be grouchy, even when Lightning McQueen refuses to have his tires changed during pit stops. In Cars: Race-O-Rama, he can shout angry remarks at the other racers. He even gets annoyed when people do not call him by his actual name, especially when he is called "Chuck".
Not Chuck's model is said by the Car Finder game to be a 2003 Nemomatic Forklift. His livery is mostly red, and he has the number 95 on his door and cap. His eyes are brown, and he also has a lightning bolt design on the sides of his cap. On his front are grey forklift arms, which make it easy for him to carry items like his wheel gun.
Not Chuck appears at the beginning of the film, working as Lightning McQueen's temporary crew chief in the Rust-eze team.
As McQueen makes a pit stop during the Piston Cup race at the Motor Speedway of the South, the team prepares to change his tires, but he tells them to only give him fuel, and he leaves without his tires changed. As a response to this, Not Chuck angrily tells McQueen that he needs new tires. His quote happens to be right, when McQueen bursts his rear tires on the final lap, to which Not Chuck calls him a fool. However, McQueen manages to get to the finish line, but ties with Chick Hicks and the King. Following the race, Not Chuck and the rest of the team change McQueen's tires while he is being interviewed by Kori Turbowitz. As the interview ends, a cameraman struggles to get a view of McQueen's bolt stickers on his camera with Not Chuck in the way. Seeing this, McQueen gives him an order to back away. Fed up by McQueen being a jerk, Not Chuck and the team decide to quit their job. As they leave, McQueen arrogantly bids farewell to Not Chuck, referring to him as "Chuck", to which he angrily responds, "And my name is not Chuck!" He is never seen or heard from again for the rest of the film, nor does he appear in the sequels.
Not Chuck appears in Cars: Race-O-Rama as one of the playable characters in the Guido Kart races. Strangely, he still has Rust-eze paint job and decals, even though it was a few years after he quit McQueen's team.
- He is simply referred to as "My Name is Not Chuck" by merchandise lines.
- His eyes are blue on the die-cast packaging's image.
