Hey Tiger, guess what? I'm going back to Disney World in a few days and we are staying at The Lion King section of the Art of Animation resort. We even watched The Lion King last night in anticipation for the trip. I couldn't resist telling you since I know how much you love that movie.
I saw that you that you think, it's a bad show. I just want to know if you respect the fan base, because just about everyone loves it, and the creators put a lot of work into it. I know there are a few people who don't like it, but your rant was pretty extreme.
Hi Tiger. Now that Thanksgiving is done, I am into my Christmas spirit. And on that note, I have an idea you could do for a blog. You think maybe you'd like to make a list of your favorite Christmas specials?
Hmmm, I like it! Because, I have a few to pick from: The Grinch, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the Kung Fu Panda Christmas special, and the lion guard episode "The Kupatana Celebration", just to name a few.
Um, to answer your first question, I'm not sure whether or not I'm gonna review the package films, since the only ones I've seen are Fun and Fancy Free and The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. To answer your second question, I LOVE the Mr. Toad segment of that movie. It was a lot of fun.
Hi Tigerfan45. This isn't Disney related, but I remember you once said that you hated Patrick Star in the newer episodes. Out of curiosity, what is it about Patrick bothers you? Did you find him mean-spirited or corny?
Well, the mean spirited thing is one reason. I mean, there's episodes like "Yours, mine, and mine", where he refuses to share that toy with Spongebob (and even eats it, for crying out loud!), and then there's "Big Sister Sam", where he was completely oblivious to Sam's destructive behavior, yells at Squidward for being rightfully upset, and calls SpongeBob a bad friend even though he didn't do anything wrong. My last example in this category is in the episode "Driven to Tears": he is completely snobbish about having his driver's license, and rubs it in Spongebob's face. Him being overly stupid in the new episodes aggravates me as well, where his stupidity does nothing but cause trouble for others, like in "Stuck in the Wringer", where he glues SpongeBob in the wringer. But, then again, this is all just me talking. Thanks for asking. What do you think?
For me, it depends on the episodes. The examples you gave I do agree with, but in my favorite episodes from Season 4 and 5, he doesn't seem too stupid or mean like that. But for the most part, he's been pretty corny in later episodes. If there are any characters that become really dislikable in newer episodes, I'd say they'd be Mr. Krabs and especially Mrs. Puff.
Ugh, tell me about it. Mr. Krabs is now a money-obsessed crustaeceous cheapskate (as SpongeBob puts it), who drove plankton to attempt suicide, as well as firing SpongeBob just to save a nickel. And, Mrs. Puff is now a complete psycho!
That's just what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do the same regarding the original Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go. I'm sticking with the original series, and I'm just gonna pretend that that piece of junk reboot never existed.
I just put in my next part. The lion guard are now on the case. Bunga, Mulan, and Shang have just gone to talk with Ting-Ting, Su, and Mei about whether they are happy in the Pride Lands or not, which is along the lines of Mulan's first theory that maybe Lord Qin didn't like the Pride Lands.
