Have the chosen the cast for the Lion King yet? So far there is only Liu Yifei to be Mulan. It's a little disturbing to me because she was the actress I imagined as one of my fanfiction characters which was Mulan's great-granddaughter. And I hate that they are going to replace Shang with a gokturk named Chen Hongnui. I hope Mulan either keeps rejecting him or that both he and Shang are in it and the fight and then Hongnui is about to kill Shang and Mulan comes in and saves him. Oh, and what's interesting though is she might actually fight the real Gokturks instead of the Huns, which would be great. No word on Mushu or the gang of 3 yet. They better be in there.
I hope so. And, yes, the cast for the Live Action version of The Lion King has been revealed:
JD McCrarey as Young Simba
Donald Glover as Adult Simba
Shahadi Wright Joseph as Young Nala
Beyoncé Knowells-Carter as Adult Nala
Billy Eichner as Timon
Seth Rogen as Pumbaa
John Kani as Rafiki
John Oliver as Zazu
James Earl Jones as Mufasa
Alfre Woodard as Sarabi
Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar
Florence Kasumba as Shenzi
Keegan Michael-Key as Kamari
Eric Andrè as Azizi.
Kamari and Azizi are going to be the new names for Banzai and Ed. Honestly, I really like this cast. I especially love that James Earl Jones is gonna be Mufasa again, since he played Mufasa SO perfectly in the original. The only choice I don't agree with is Florence Kasumba as Shenzi. I watched a clip from one of her previous roles, and, I don't know, it just doesn't say "Shenzi" to me.
I know, right? Because nobody else could play Mufasa the way he did. As for the Mulan cast, if they couldn't get Eddie Murphy back for Mushu, then, I'd vote for Jack Black. As for the gang of 3, I haven't yet been able to think of who should play Yao or Chien-Po, but, I'd vote for Jackie Chan as Ling. Getting back on The Lion King, a lot of people were wondering how it could be live action, since there weren't any people in that movie. Well, I'd say that Disney will probably do what they did when they made Dinosaur: the backgrounds are real, but, the animals are Cgi.
By the way, here's an update on our fanfic: Kion and the lion guard have let the jackal pup, named Dogo, into the Pride Lands, though, Frank, having grown up in the Outlands and knowing the deceptive nature of jackals, is skeptical about letting Dogo come in.
I'm Danesty Lewis,a graduate from high school and a fan of Disney animated films .I watched Fa Mulan after my teacher taught me the ballad of Mulan at an early age. This outstanding heroine has inpired many people from all over the world .You gotta be impressed by her spirits and courage.BTW,I wonder whether you can speak Chinese.
Great, many people consider Chinese very difficult.Film is said to be a mixture of fact and art.So I recommend you to learn more about history because the story of Fa Mulan was adapted in the film.In contrast to her real story, the film looks like a myth insome degree.
OH, and, on a side note, I just put my part in. In this episode, Frank will be skeptical about letting Dogo into the Pride Lands, because he, having grown up in the Outlands, knows of the deceptive nature of jackals.
No. I thought it came out tomorrow. Probably won't get a chance to see it for a while though. It looks relly good.
I wanted to go to the March for Science for Earth Day, but my parents won't let me. It's really sad, but things have been happening, like the Senate lifting hunting some hunting laws and stuff. Apparently it's legal to hunt bear cubs and their mothers in Alaska now. Can you believe that?
Gizmo is an alien charater on these applesauce packets, andI got Trung from the Trung sisters. They were from Thai (like Betta) warrior women. Chili from a show called Horseland. Her colors just reminded me of Chili the horse.
I got the bear information from the Jane Goodall Institute. I'm subscribe to their newsletter online.
Ok. I'm surprised it's from the Jane Goodall institute, since she's normally about chimpanzees.
By the way, I was thinking about doing our own made-up fanfiction episode where Mei and Su are driven away from a waterhole they use every morning for a drink and mudbath, by a selfish buffalo. They initially turn to Yao and Chien-Po for help, which succeeds for a few days, but, later, they would have to turn to Kion and The Lion Guard for help. What do you think?
Maybe we should call it "Horns of a Dilemma"? Also, at some point, I want to do "Never Judge a hyena by its spots". In that one, when Shang and Kion end up separated from the rest of the guard, and end up lost in the Outlands, they meet a benevolent hyena named Jasiri.
