Hey 702085 I found director Jon Favreau's home address. Now I need to know your real name so i can write him a letter and ask him if the sequel to The Jungle Book (2016 film) can have some elements from the 2003 animated film and let Shanti be in it and let Mowgli and Shanti 's love releationship be simmilar to Tarzan (character) and Jane Porter 's love relationship. I will start writting it and i'll ask him to write back sometime.
Ok. But figuring out his home adress, isn't that wrong? I mean I don't want to have any trouble. Can you ask him if he's willing to recycle the songs "W.I.L.D" and "Jungle Rhythm" from the 2003 Jungle Book 2? Also if the movie can have just one scene where the jungle are having a dance party?
Personally, no, I don't want Jeremy Irons to play Frollo! My choice would be Malcolm McDowell! Jeremy Irons, though sometimes he can make for a great villain, always carried charisma and eloquence about him that made him always some what likeable even when he was playing villains! Plus his voice is that of Scar's, Disney fans will always hear Scar when they think of him and never Frollo! The argument with Kevin Kline playing Phoebus and Maurice is less valid, because Kline is not that well known for playing Pheobus, while Irons is legendary for playing Scar.
I also think that Malcolm McDowell has a much more sinister face and has a long established history of playing depraved villains and perverted creeps like Alex DeLarge from A Clockwork Orange and Caligula from Caligula (also a tyrannical ruler like Frollo). I'd rather Jeremy Irons play the Archdeacon. This is mostly because of his role as Father Gabriel in The Mission. I honestly think he gave the best performance of his career in that film and provided such a wonderful contrast between Father Gabriel, a kind and pacifistic priest, and Rodrigo Mendoza (Robert De Niro), a violent and ruthless slave hunter seeking redemption. Seeing him play the Archdeacon would bring back memories of Father Gabriel in my mind.
I just wanted to tell you Jon Faverau's Jungle Book 2 will have some unused ideas from the 1967 animated movie and have more stuff from the Kipling novels. I'm going to have to write Jon Faverau and or Justin Marks and ask them that you and I would like for it to have some elements from the 2003 animated film. And we can see if they will say yes or no to us in responds.
Good! Unused ideas like the deleted scenes and characters from 1967? I hope its that. I also hope they could include English imperialism in the movie. Could you also ask him if there is a "certain jungle party" invoved in the movie?
Sure. And I will also ask him if the movie can also have some elements from the 2003 The Jungle Book 2 film and ask him if Shanti can be in the film as well. Also I think Shanti should look like the version from the 2003 animated film. I don't care for her original look from the 1967 film.
Yeah. the 1967 version of Shanti is not well-written and she has a pink dress that symbolizes feminine color. The 2003 version of Shanti is more improved. So my vote goes to the 2003 Shanti. But she still needs to have a few changes in her: Instead of being afraid of the jungle, she longs to explore the jungle, thinking that her people should give it chance to reconsider of what they think of the jungle. But still, she's the apple in her parents' eyes and everybody in the village is happy that she's there, despite that they are struggling to harvest food and maintaing their clothes clean since the Englishmen are apperantly not giving them enough money to survive. How she ended up in the jungle, is because the first time she met Mowgli, he fell in love and wanted to visit her in her village but Buldeo for some reason captured him and ordered his execution. Shanti intervened and rescued Mowgli. She helps him escape and somehow she gets herslef stuck in the jungle, because since she defied an order, Buldeo and his guards went looking for her to arrest her.
I hope this can be the better version of Shanti
Yes it will get deeper, but no that deep. Neel Sethi won't be replaced, I assure you that. But if the sooner they start filming before he gets much older the better to keep him teenaged. Besides, I think that is what will make things interesting. He's mature enough to have a girlfriend and to have kiss scenes.
Hey! I saw what you wrote about Shere Khan, and it got me disappointed. You really think he won't appear in the sequel? Has Jon Favreau even confirmed it? There is still a way to save Shere Khan for the sequel
Well I haven't sent Jon a letter yet. But I will sometime and I need to know your real name which is your first and last name. Also I think if Neel's voice does get too deep for Mowgli i think they should get a different 8 or 10 year old boy to overdub his voice to make it sound younger. See in the two MGM Pink Panther Movies Trail of The Pink Panther and Curse Of The Pink Panther David Niven who was playing Sir Charles the Phantom he was too old to speak so Rich Little had to overdub his voice to help out. So i guess that can work out well for Neel playing Mowgli in the sequel.
No! They just can't replace Neel Sethi, he can still play Mowgli. I'm just saying that he should film his scenes sooner before he reaches adulthood. Also I like his new voice. It's not childish but it's smooth and it should stay that way. I heard his voice on social media. He doesn't need for his voice to be overdubed.
Another thing: The vultures definietly need to appear in this movie. Jon Favreau wanted to cast former Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to voice two of them, but they turned the roles down, just like what happened back in '67. Apperantley they respected John Lennon's decision of not voicing characters that look like them. You know what? They're not worth it. Jon Favreau should better cast comedians for the roles, not band-based artists, but comedians than can sing. My top choices for the role of the vultures are: Larry David as Buzzie, Ed Helms as Flaps, Jerry Seinfeld as Ziggy, Bradley Cooper as Dizzy. and Jason Alexander as Lucky. What do you think?
I also hope that the movie has a scene where the animals have their first jungle party at night and they sing and dance and "Jungle Rythmn" and "W-I-L-D" can be mixed together in it. And they should put a new song that has a beat that is similar to "Hot Wings/I Wanna Party" from Rio
I did not say anything about replacing Neel Sethi as Mowgli. I said while Neel plays him on the set we have a younger 8 or 10 year old boy to overdub his dialoge so his normal voice would not sound deeper but much younger. You see overdub means the young boy would have to record over the original audio voice track which can be heard in the background or heard in the final film. And your actors for the vultures are pretty cool. And the songs you picked are wonderful. Remember overdubing is when this young 8 or 10 year old boy is reading Neel's lines for Mowgli and it makes it sound young in the final version.
I just don't think it's a good idea to overdub his voice. It won't sound natural. Imagine if Neel Sethi is seeing himself in the movie and what he's hearing is not his current actual voice. He would be angry, because it's awful. Anyone nowadays would get angry seeing this kinds of things. We have to let things flow naturally. Besides, I bet the sequel's plot will involve making Mowgli a teenager with his voice getting just a little deep.
Well my friend I think having his voice being deeper can be all right with me. I know I did not like it at first. But it's both your choice and mine. I guess we'll ask Jon Faverau if he might let Mowgli's voice be deeper or not. We need to see if he will like it or not. I do not want to argue with you about letting the voice hit puberty and overdub the lines by a younger boy but let's see what Jon Faverau has to say about it. He can pick which one will work or not. If he picks yours then i guess it's okay with me. But if he picks mine then it will not be okay with you. So let's just ask him about our problem with his voice.
It's all right with me. But i like it better when younger boy characters like Mowgli and Christopher Robin who are 10 years old have younger voices since i somehow don't like seeing other younger boy characters who are 10 or 12 years old have deeper voices that make them mature much quicker.
Please you or Tyler26 or the two of you together, or if necessary similar experts, But I was hoping we could bring back Bhati who was Simba's and Nala's childhood friend in the live-action movie. Bhati's one of Disney's foxes she's a Bat-eared fox. Bhati's page mentions back when the movie was initially titled King Of The Jungle. The poor cute fox made no further than concept photos, but I think Bhati should have been kept in the cast.
Hey it's me Listen it's unknown if Alan Tudyk or Jim Cummings will do Tigger for Disney's Live Action 2018 Christopher Robin movie. I still want Jim to do both Tigger and Pooh for this movie. But let's not argue about this and we'll just see who can do it.
I agree Jim Cummings should stick with voicing Pooh and Tigger. He has done a marvelous job. But someimes I think Scott Adsit should have voice Pooh in his Baymax voice and Hank Azaria should voice Tigger. But that's just me. Let's just see who gets it better
This user wants help with forming a story, I've given my reply of reaction answers on a discussion page, and examples of animals and humans being active but harmless through whole stories on this user's message wall. This user would probably like your advice for Zootopia's future though.
A few of the Jungle Book's star characters, and characters like Shanti could do an episode with Elena, and her Jaquin friends, with a few of the Lion King's / Lion Guard episode characters invited as well. Quasimodo's gargoyle friends too. With this sort of a mixed cast of star characters it wouldn't matter how magical the video seemed it would be entertaining doubtlessly.
You don't have to use this suggestion It's just one of the joyful and musical scenes I can visualize and see many fans considering exciting to watch. But I'll be pleased if this suggestion helped you with a question of your hardwork on an animated character you've been quite busy with.
Actually, Johnharoldmeyer was doing the drawings of Mowgli and Shanti's first meeting in the live action remake of the sequel. I wrote a song for a possible Disney Channel series of The Jungle Book that he and I were talking about lately. I was waiting for him to post those pictures in my wall to see them.
So like, we are doing two different Disney Jungle Books. One that is for a Disney Channel series and its events taking place a year after The Jungle Book 2 (2003) and the other that is for the Jon Favreau live action sequel.
But I have been drawing a picture for an animated character, but that's meant for Frozen. I have been drawing storyboards about that character.
Elena's jaquin friends deserve meetings older princesses and a few feral disney characters altogether at least once that's my opion. I'd include Chief Zephyr for sure, he's friendlier than Scar absolutely. That's part why I offered such a future scene mentioning some those I'd let the beautyful joyful jaquin clan meet in the first note.
He's should still be a golden jackal I've now read the sequel and understand it's because he's with a mugger that they see Tabaqui mean like a hyena, and Tabaqui himself sees himself a little theif while considering the mugger who talks to him a bigger theif. Spotted hyenas aren't anywhere near India if you want him hyena instead of jackal then he'd be the striped hyena who in both Asia and Africa. Just so you know / realize the mistake of his photo before making the film!
Me? I didn't post any photos! Why are you blaming me for? I agree that Tabaqui has to be either a stripped hyena or a golden jackal. The only thing I mentioned about him is that his voice actor should be Jared Leto who played the Joker in Suicide Squad or Steve Zahn who played Thunderclap in the Good Dinosaur. That's it.
Oh and I hope his hyena laugh can be similar to the Joker's laugh
My part is I don't want the big fans like you suddenly disappointed by such a mistake seen on the screen, nice buddy. I've studied the appearances of the 4 hyenas and I've studied every jackal and wolf kinds plus their closest cousins except the foxs' various looks.
The question would be if you want him to travel up and down or not both or not Golden Jackal and Striped Hyena know Africa and Asia quite well. He's a jackal who chats with a mugger in the Second Jungle Book But in Mowgli's Story he has his jokes. Tabaqui also has an adjutant friend who knows the mugger too.
I just didn't want the screen mistake of Tabaqui's photo on his character page to be shown on TV screens by accident disappointing the sincere fans like you.
OK. I'm not disappointed. But if there's a problem, they'll fix it. So relax. Also I think Tabaqui should be both a mugger and a guy with jokes, despite that he's an evil hyena (or jackal) who works for Shere Khan
Do you want Tabaqui as a scavanger or just a busy hunter when he runs around, the Striped Hyena would be the scavanger and watch vultures but the Golden Jackal would follow numerous animals while they're in its sight.
I have no idea what to pick, because I like both and I also want Tabaqui to have annoying jokes which he thinks they are funny but he's an annoying mutt who pisses off everybody in the jungle, but at the same time one of the secondary villains of the sequel
If you want Tabaqui to look as normal as possible I believe being the golden jackal would be the better choice since they walk seperately and then look for each other while hyenas when they hunt walk and run altogether. He'd have an easier time with his trickiness as a jackal because he'd have more camouflage than the striped hyenas do. Plus that jackals might sleep for a while but not as long as the hyenas. If Tabaqui was the golden Jackal he'd be able to do food jokes driving chunks of food to Mowgli and back to himself running near the river streams too, not just regular annoying jokes. Tabaqui would scare more of mowgli's friends being the golden jackal because he'd chase mouse-like rodents, pheasants, coots, francolins, ducks, moorhens, passerines. and with fruits Tabaqui would have quite an easy time as a golden jackal that would give him the choice of also being playful with fruits when he wants to underestimate Mowgli.
Watermelon, Apricots, pears, grapes, muskmelons, and nuts. As a golden jackal Tabaqui could even try to scare Kaa. Reptiles are another golden jackal prey. He could play catch with Mowgli when being playful with fish joking with Mowgli on the river.
But I want Tabaqui to be a stripped hyena. Even though he may do everything a golden jackal would do, I want him to laugh hysterically like the Joker, because if he's a mutt with jokes up his sleeves, he must laugh at his own bad jokes which are not funny. And why on earth would Tabaqui would want to play with Mowgli? They are enemies! He might try bully him and play the psycological card on him and sent him to Shere Khan and kill him
That's what I was talking about when it's someone only pretending to like you, one or the other Tabaqui would have a very simple time tricking Mowgli about loyalty, and then thinking haha I got you. It's me picturing this Jungle Book character Tabaqui laughing at Mowgli's confusions and difficulties repeatedly, not joy, since he's already quite tricky in the original story. I was just mentioning what numerous jungle things Tabaqui could do his tricks with.
Sorry if I'm gonna be off topic here, But how about Tabaqui tricks Baloo into handing Shanti over to him, when Baloo wanted Shanti out of the jungle, because he was jealous that Mowgli was spending time with her and not him anymore?
Tabaqui could maybe just bully or blackmail Mowgli and talk pretty annoying things that make Mowgli mad!
Hey it's ne. I have just finished making The Jungle Book drawings which are the ones where Mowgli meeting Shanti being the same similarites to Tarzan meeting Jane. All i need to do is show them to you which are in black and white then couple more days later i'll give them some color.
Perfect! Hey, I really don't care if they are black and white or color because I really can handle both. But yeah, take the time you need to color them. I have been too busy too, I'm still writing the new songs and at the same time doing my daily homework.
Hey my drawings of Mowgli meeting Shanti for our page of them in the live action sequel are all finished. I will show them to you and they're all in black and white. Then i'll show them to you again but in color.
