Mark Louis Dindal is an American film director, screenwriter, effects animator, character designer, storyboard artist, and voice actor, who created and directed Chicken Little, The Emperor's New Groove, and Cats Don't Dance.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio and began his career at Disney working as an effects animation assistant on The Fox and the Hound in 1980, and since then he worked in many Disney projects as an effects animator, and also led the special effects for several classic movies, such as The Little Mermaid and The Rescuers Down Under before becoming a director.
Outside of Disney, Dindal worked on the animated series Bravestarr and animated features, like Cats Don't Dance, Happily Ever After, Tom & Jerry: The Movie, The Garfield Movie and Wonder Park as an animator and director for some projects.
