Make Mine Music

From The Unofficial DisneyWiki

Make Mine Music is the eighth animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics cannon. It was originally released to theaters by RKO Radio Pictures on April 20, 1946.

The film breaks up in ten segments: The Martins and the Coys, Blue Bayou, All the Cats Join In, Without You, Casey at the Bat, Two Silhouettes, Peter and the Wolf, After You've Gone, Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet and The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met.

[edit] Home video release

Make Mine Music's only home video release was on VHS and DVD on June 6, 2000 as part of the Walt Disney Gold Classic Collection. This release edited out The Martians and the Coys due to too much comic gunplay. Peter and the Wolf and The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met (released under the title Willie the Operatic Whale) were separately released as part of the Walt Disney Mini Classics series on June 2, 1991.
