Lucy Liu (born December 2, 1968) is an American actress, artist, narrator and film producer who is best known for her roles as Ling Woo on the Fox legal comedy-drama series Ally McBeal from 1997 to 2002, Alex Munday in the 2000 action comedy film Charlie's Angels and its 2003 sequel, and currently stars as Dr. Joan Watson on the CBS crime drama series Elementary since 2012.

She voiced Princess Mei in the 2004 Disney direct-to-DVD film Mulan II and Silvermist in the Tinker Bell films.
