Lil' Lightning is a character in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, voiced by Jason Alexander. He is Thunderbolt's little sidekick. Lightning is severely unappreciated, as he is constantly ignored in favor of Thunderbolt.
Lil' Lighting is a slightly obese light-orange Welsh Corgi with creamy yellow fur. He has cream-colored paws and a blue leather collar with a license of a lighting.
He is good at first, but he became jealous about Thunderbolt's fame and attention from ladies and later schemed to get rid of Thunderbolt, so he can take his place on the show. Whilst he can seem sweet and trusty, he may have an intelligent, scheming mind behind that. Even though he plotted against him, Lightning still does show a bit of remorse and genuine feeling when Thunderbolt fakes his death towards the climax of the film.
Lightning starts off being a neutral character in the film. Eventually, he becomes angry at always crawling in Thunderbolt's shadow, while Thunderbolt receives all the fame. He tricks the German Shepherd into running away by convincing him that the executives plan to replace him with a younger dog, then plots to manipulate the director into re-writing the TV show slanted towards Lightning. In the end, however, Lightning is overpowered and arrested by the authorities' police dogs. Presumably, he is thrown in the pound with a newspaper heading in the credits regarding him as "the unkindest cut of all."
