"Like a King" is a song from the 1990 Mickey Mouse short, The Prince and the Pauper. It is performed by Mickey (Wayne Allwine) and Goofy (Bill Farmer). A reprise of the song is featured in the finale sung by Mickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck (Tony Anselmo). The song is based on La Donna e Mobile composed by Giuseppe Verdi in 1850.

Goofy: Give me a suckling pig, to make my belly big
Mickey: I'm just a little guy, give me a pizza pie
Goofy: I'd have a happy place, next to the fireplace
Mickey: I'd have a hat to wear
Goofy: And thermal underwear
Mickey: It would be appealing
Goofy: To have the royal feeling
All: Doing everything, a little bit like a king
Goofy: Like a king
Mickey: Like a king
All: His majesty, the king

Goofy: Just a little bit like, just a little bit like, just a little bit, little bit, little bit like
Mickey: I.............would, love to live just like a king!

All: Everybody sing, a toast to the king
Goofy: To the king
Mickey: To the king
All: To his majesty, the king

Goofy: To his majesty, royal majesty, to his royal majesty the king.
Mickey: I............ (giggles)
Long live the king, yeah!
Goofy: Gawrsh
