Liam John Neeson, OBE (born June 7, 1952) is an Irish-American actor and voice actor most famous for his roles in various action films such as the Taken trilogy, as well as voicing Good Cop/Bad Cop in The LEGO Movie.

For Disney, he has played Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Charles Mayeaux in Gun ShyAslan in the first two Chronicles of Narnia films under the Disney banner (along with its later films outside of Disney), and Fujimoto in the Disney English dub of Ponyo. He also portrayed Ben Ryan in Before and After and Leo in the 1988 Touchstone Pictures film The Good Mother. He is the widower of the late Natasha Richardson.

  • Neeson was once considered along with Sean Connery to voice Mufasa in The Lion King, but he turned down the offer.[1]
  • Liam was originally considered for the role of Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but at the end, Kurt Russell was cast instead.
