Maria Lea Carmen Imutan Salonga is a Filipino soprano singer and actress, who, for Disney, is well-known for providing the singing voices of Jasmine and Fa Mulan.

Salonga, primarily a stage actress, is well known for originating the lead role of Kim in the musical Miss Saigon, for which she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1991, and was also one of the first Asians to play the roles of Éponine Thénardier and Fantine in the musical Les Misérables. She also performed in various international productions of renowned musicals, like My Fair Lady, Cinderella, Flower Drum Song, Into the Woods, Allegiance, Cats, Sweeney Todd, and Here Lies Love.

Salonga was named a Disney Legend in 2011, alongside fellow Disney Princess voice actresses Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara, Linda Larkin, and Anika Noni Rose for her work with the company.

She also voiced Yasuko Kusakabe in My Neighbor Totoro for the 2004 English dub.

  • Salonga was one of the coaches on The Voice of the Philippines.
  • She also did the voice of Jasmine and Mulan in the Filipino dub of Sofia the First, aired on TV5. She even performs the Filipino version of the Elena of Avalor theme song.
  • She has sung a Filipino version of "A Whole New World" with Daryl Drey Reyes and "Reflection".
