Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is the actual location where the property of Walt Disney World Resort is located. The small ex-swamp is commonly misconcepted to be a part of the neighboring city, Orlando. In Spanish, Lake Beuna Vista translates to Lake Great View. While technically not a lake, it was once a swamp that was purchased by The Walt Disney Company to start what Walt Disney dubbed The Florida Project.
